Job Description

The Search Account Director is responsible for the definition and delivery of the search strategy and holds full accountability for overall account search performance. You will take ownership of all commercials and lead the team to generate great results.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including other search specialists, Google representatives, planning leads and also manage a team.

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including key clients
  • Develop and present search content in QBR/Strategy meetings
  • Build a library of search collateral, best practice documents and case studies
  • Pilot innovations, new Google products and lead a test and learn agenda
  • Embrace and drive positive culture within your team
  • Define commercial model and KPIs, defend search investment and revenues
  • Identify and develop growth opportunities within search
  • Understand and effectively communicate our Paid Search value proposition
  • Share best practice across your team
  • Build positive relationships with partners, suppliers, and teams internally

Qualifications

  • Expert knowledge of Google Ads
  • Proven experience with bid management tools (Search Ads 360) and Google Shopping
  • Demonstrable experience of driving innovation in paid search
  • Extensive knowledge of the digital landscape
  • Extensive experience in full funnel paid search strategies including new and existing customer acquisition / retention
  • Strong leadership, communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders of all levels of seniority
  • Web Analytics understanding, particularly Google Analytics
  • Solution driven and innovative with how you deliver performance to exceed targets
  • Strategic thinker, always cognisant of the scalability of plans, strategies, and opportunities
  • Experience in people management
