Job Description

We are looking for candidates who possess the ability to think both creatively and analytically. Agile Content Studio duties include producing and publishing content, writing, editing, and proofreading, formulating content strategies, and managing a content team, among other tasks.

The candidate should be comfortable finding creative ways of building an online presence, as well as using analytics in the formulation of a content strategy. Here, content is defined as multimedia articles, social and blog posts, images, or videos that aid in fostering engagement online. The candidate should possess the ability to think platform up and consumer first.

As a Sr. Manager – Agile Content Studio, you are responsible for creating visual content across multiple communication touchpoints by bringing brand storytelling and product life through audiovisual media while applying the global quality standards. Another key part of this role would be developing and managing an agile content studio for creating agile photo shoots and post-production

Candidates for this role enjoy the considerations of aesthetics, visual communication flow, the golden ratio, the rule of thirds (how the user´s eye recognizes good layout), color, and typography including how these design tools can be used to create compelling marketing content – regionally and globally. You will be an active member of the Publicis Content Product, Brand & Creative Team.

In addition to the Brand & Creative Team and Product Marketing Team, you will collaborate regularly with the other practices and entities within Publicis Group

Overall, the goal of this role is to bring our clients’ brands to life for consumers through audio-visual media. An understanding of various needs across different marketing platforms, especially digital, and the needs of differing audiences will be key to success.

Responsibilities:

  • Motivate the team to create a collaborative, innovative and ambitious environment
  • Shoot and art direct all photography and videography in the in-house content studio.
  • Manage the in-house content creation studio, including post-production.
  • Perform retouching and manipulation of images.
  • Writing, editing and proofreading content
  • Stay atop of current content and technology trends and how those may affect your client business
  • Serve as the main point of contact for quality assurance across all phases of content development
  • Formulating a cross-platform content strategy
  • Brainstorm with team members to develop new ideas
  • Provide editorial, creative and technical support to team members
  • Track web analytics to ascertain content engagement levels
  • Perform consistently against all published KPI's and scorecard objectives
  • Create content and design visual packages to communicate digital and non-digital brand messages such as social media campaigns, marketing emails, PR and print materials.
  • Ensure completed projects are high quality and on schedule to adhere to content briefing, production schedules and workflows.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions.
  • Collaborate with and manage external freelancer resources and develop a roster of quality freelancers
  • Collaborate with designers and other brand and creative team members to implement creative direction.
  • Monitor high-performance content brands for case studies and best practices
  • Ensure participation in the regional and global awards that define the industry
  • Writing, presenting, and publishing work - ensure thought leadership pieces on Content are published in industry portals by the team
  • Ensure a high tier score in the client evaluations year on year
  • Presenting, designing or facilitating technical workshops for the team and clients
  • Lead the content approval process with the client, with the necessary assistance from the client leads
  • Ensure client commercial terms are met reflective of company policy
  • Manage and optimize costs within agreed budget
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financials every quarter
  • Manage the budget and financial aspects of projects
  • Manage status updates with clients and our teams, recap emails, leading partners meetings and other administrative tasks
  • Ensure client compliance, process consistency and client quality assurance
  • Maintain positive relationships with all clients and vendor partners
  • Proactively suggest new opportunities to the client teams / clients (with an eye to upsell and cross sell broader Groupe proposition)
  • Managing a content team consisting of writers, graphic designers, videographers & freelancers
  • Ensure clear objectives are set and monitored for all members of the team
  • Particpate in new business pitches as required
  •  Support the development of existing and new talent and aligning on training requirements with the Talent team

Qualifications

​​​​​​Knowledge & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, graphic, design, communications, photography or equivalent work experience required
  • Bi-lingual (English / Arabic) proficiency is ideal
  • 3-5 years agency experience or in a similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
  • Strong experience in managing in-studio and on-ground production
  • Proven graphic design and layout skills in the area of print, packaging, especially for digital mediums, a plus
  • Have a firm understanding of color theory and how vital the right choice of color scheme is and design with an eye for how elements match the tone
  • Demonstrable experience shooting and creating content for organic and/or paid social media, ideally food and/or lifestyle focused content (e.g. interior design goods, electronic consumer goods or health & wellness)
  • Candidates with videography and video editing abilities, especially for short-form social media content, strongly preferred
  • Hands on experience using post-production and design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, as well as common productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite
  • Comfortable communicating across all levels of Publicis Groupe as to build strong relationships and advocate for the needs of your functional area of the business
  • Experience art directing and running photoshoots as well as a deep knowledge of the equipment and pre-planning required (managing freelance resources, location scouting, lighting, video and camera equipment)
  • Excellent eye for detail and passion for creating meaningful lifestyle content that inspires
  • An interest in analytics and understanding of how creative content needs to perform in a business setting
  • Candidates must be willing and able to travel both domestically and regionally within the ME
  • Experience with social media management
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Ideally adept at keyword placement and SEO best practices, but not mandatory
  • Experience working with a multitude of sectors
