About the Team:

The Product Strategy & Solutions team at APEX is tasked with developing meaningful solutions that allow us to deliver innovation, value & unique supply access for Publicis agencies and clients. We deliver these solutions via bespoke packages, strategic partnerships, and facilitating integrations.

About the Role:

As a Director of Product Strategy, you are a key collaborator in driving and developing our APEX go to market strategy with respect to our current product offering and partner portfolio. This role will utilize your market expertise to provide proactive thought leadership to support the creation of innovative products and solutions that drive value for Publicis Media agencies and their clients. You love a good challenge and are a self-motivated, adaptable team member who is comfortable working in a rapidly changing industry. You have a strong understanding of media and digital advertising technologies and can assess “how things work”. You are a data and results driven individual with strong analytical skills and execution abilities.

Responsibilities:

Drive Strategic Growth for APEX

  • Create and support operational framework for routine solution adoption check-ins and measurement. 
  • Lead internal feedback sessions and leverage intel to identify areas of solution improvement with tangible next steps.
  • Develop ongoing reporting analyses of performance and spend data to drive product priorities and product development
  • Continue development of Inclusive Buying data aggregation and analysis into actionable recommendations for Investment Leads and vendor partners.

Create Valuable Solutions

  • Identify new or innovative product opportunities supported with marketplace insights, intel and internal POVs.
  • Schedule and run initial partner vetting meetings. Create clear overview of vendor product or service capabilities. Identify and communicate their position within the marketplace, internal feasibility, and the potential value to APEX partnership
  • Ascertain critical business blockers and opportunities and deliver innovative recommendations to create opportunities for APEX brands.
  • Support architecture and scalability of APEX Product roadmap via Salesforce vendor profile and dashboard development

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 7 years of digital advertising industry experience (preferably media, AdTech or programmatic) with over 3+ years working across a tech stack including data and measurement.
  • A bachelor’s degree (preferably in a relevant field of study)
  • Strong ability to build productive cross-functional relationships, drive change, and interact directly with senior management, channel leads, marketing, and client service teams
  • Systems & software proficiency (Salesforce, PowerPoint, automation tools, data visualization tools, etc.)
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills, presentation skills
  • Working hours EST/CST preferred
