Job Description

We are hiring a communication and social media manager to join our team in Saudi Arabia!

We are looking for a detail oriented, client-facing individual responsible for the end-to-end project coordination & implementation of social media ongoing campaigns, always-on content & events coverage.

The Communication & Social Media Manager will use business knowledge and strategic intelligence in a creative environment to help clients reach their communication objectives. 

This role is for a thinker, someone who comprehends the digital and social landscape, and a curious challenger who can understand and interpret client needs. This position will tackle business needs and communications briefs while managing a team of allocated resources.

In your role, you will work very closely with our client in Saudi Arabia and may require to be present at their premises frequently.  

Duties Include:

 Client Servicing & Management

  • Be the main point of contact to the client day-to-day
  • Partake in briefing sessions with the client & be able to convey the needed job to the team
  • Set clear expectations for tasks and deliverables across teams accountable for work, communicating clearly and providing proper materials/documentation when necessary
  • Understand the contractual obligation & make sure to abide by the scope of work
  • Work with the relevant teams to create and implement monthly social media strategies
  • Supervise the creation and implementation phase of the monthly calendars
  • Protect client and agency’s interests by thoughtfully managing resources and identifying new opportunities for growth, issues, and updates
  • Consistent involvement in status and creative meetings, ensuring action steps are always communicated
  • Oversee day-to-day management of ongoing content and ensure timely delivery
  • Involvement in on ground events coverages

Finances & Reporting

  • Gathers data on ad campaigns & tools to evaluate performance, and gives recommendations on ways to improve campaign performance
  • Work on multiple social performance reports formats such as monthly, weekly, and quarterly business review reports by providing valuable insights and recommendations
  • Work with the relevant teams to create and implement monthly social media strategies
  • Supervise the creation and implementation phase of the monthly calendars
  • Protect client and agency’s interests by thoughtfully managing resources and identifying new opportunities for growth, issues, and updates
  • Consistent involvement in status and creative meetings, ensuring action steps are always communicated
  • Have basic knowledge in the financial contractual items by making sure that quotations, POs & invoices are issued.
  • Experience in working with 3rd party vendors & with handling their invoices and jobs

Requirements For This Role:

  • At least 4 to 5 years of experience in the social and digital realm, preferably in an agency environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment
  • Manage projects from end to end - starting with the strategy brief through to asset delivery
  • Significant digital marketing experience and a clear understanding of the social ecosystem
  • Deep knowledge and experience in all social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn
  • Clear understanding of the different types of formats & best practices on each social platform
  • Stay up to date with all digital and social trends and be able to recommend & implement them
  • Experience in leading & supervising a team
  • Solid understanding of creative processes and agency functions
  • Able to manage the client’s expectation and work with multiple stakeholders to deliver on a certain objective/outcome
  • Great communication and writing skills
  • Must be proficient in English and Arabic
  • Meticulous and detail oriented
