Job Description

The SEO Analyst will be responsible for strategy, planning, execution, monitoring and reporting for client organic search campaigns. The ideal candidate will have relentless drive, passion and talent to generate measurable results for our clients. The SEO Analyst should have deep knowledge of all aspects of organic search and can demonstrate positive results from their past experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strategy, execution and monitoring of client SEO campaigns, including:
    • Auditing existing websites
    • Competitive research and benchmarking
    • Keyword research and mapping
    • On-page optimization
    • Link building
    • Local search setup and optimization
    • Local citation building
    • Technical SEO fixes (with support from a development team)
  • Proactively reviewing and analyzing client sites for areas of improvement
  • Collaborate with content, UX and development teams to execute content marketing, CRO and SEO plans
  • Monitor and evaluate results and report on those results to clients with strategic insights
  • Understand client business objectives and build strategies to achieve goals
  • Plan and estimate project work for both prospects and clients

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on organic search experience
  • Ability to show results from past experience of success on multiple websites in competitive industries
  • Expert-level skills and knowledge across all aspects of SEO, including technical, on-page, local search, link and citation building, keyword research and content writing
  • Knowledge of the latest trends, updates and evolving tactics across all areas of SEO
  • Ability to thrive while working on multiple projects with strict deadlines
  • Strong presentation skills including preparing and delivering persuasive presentations to clients and prospects
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus
  • BA or BS related undergraduate degree, or combined equivalent of relevant industry work experience
  • Experience and proficiency with the following tools:
    • Ahrefs, Moz, SEMRush, or similar platforms
    • Google Analytics, Google My Business, Google Search Console
    • Screaming Frog
    • Bright Edge or similar keyword tracking software
  • Ability to work well with all teams across the agency while demonstrating LaneTerralever’s company values at all times
  • Deep understanding of SEO principles, with the ability to use unconventional, creative tactics when necessary
