Publicis Imagine will be active across the globe, with the hub for EMEA based here at White City in London. We are Disney fanatics and have created a unique UK and EMEA hybrid team to deliver not only excellence in market, but also be the guiding light for the region when it comes to planning. We have brought together talent from all areas of our business, client leadership, strategy, planning, data science, content, insights and execution in agile squads that will deliver for Disney’s business.

Job Description

Publicis Imagine is now looking for a new Business Intelligence Technical Architect to work on one of our latest and most exciting clients, Disney. This is an opportunity to work on a global disruptive brand, a real “people business” and be part of a team leading the change and driving businesses into the future.

Publicis Imagine’s objective is to support Disney in managing, operating and scaling Disney’s owned Centralised Reporting Solution (Datorama) in the following key areas:

 

  • Solution Architecture
    • Contributes to the development of Datorama solution architecture.
    • Identifies and evaluates alternative architectures and the trade-offs in performance and scalability. Determines and documents architecturally significant decisions.
    • Supports projects or change initiatives through the preparation of technical plans and application of design principles. Aligns solutions with solution architecture standards.
  • Requirements definition and management
    • Uses standard techniques to elicit, specify, and document requirements for simple subject areas with clearly-defined boundaries.
    • Assists in the definition and management of requirements.
    • Assists in the creation of a requirements baseline.
    • Assists in investigating and applying authorised changes.
  • Data Modelling and Design
    • Applies standard data modelling and design techniques based upon a detailed understanding of requirements.
    • Establishes, modifies and maintains data structures and associated components.
    • Communicates the details of data structures and associated components to others using the data structures and associated components.
    • Investigates enterprise data requirements where there is some complexity and ambiguity.
    • Provides advice and guidance to others using the data structures and associated components.
  • Data Management
    • Devises and implements master data management processes for specific subsets of data.
    • Assesses the integrity of data from multiple sources.
    • Provides advice on the transformation of data from one format/medium to another. Maintains and implements information handling procedures.
    • Enables the availability, integrity and searchability of information through the application of formal data and metadata structures and protection measures.
  • Consulting & Client management
    • Takes responsibility for elements of a larger projects, such as new Dashboard requirements, measurement frameworks, or other data reporting projects.
    • Collaborates with clients and understands client requirements by collecting data and delivering analysis.
    • Works collaboratively to develop and implement solutions. Seeks to address client needs within the defined scope of responsibility.
    • Ensures that proposed solutions are properly understood and appropriately exploited.

 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be someone that has technical experience and/or knowledge (academic or otherwise) in data with a specific focus on marketing and media. Preferred desirability across

  • Technical knowledge (Datorama, PowerBi, Tableau, Adtech stack)
  • Tools and methodologies (Datorama, ETL, Data Management, Agile, Kanban, Data visualisation principles) 
  • Context (Understanding of media industry, agency background, marketing role, client side experience)
  • Broad knowledge of a range of dashboard development and delivery life cycles, agile, iterative, waterfall with basic knowledge of one or more.
  • Knowledge of relevant Data visualisation applications, basic JavaScript or Python, data structuring and manipulation, and Datorama.
