Job Description

Working within the baby-care team servicing Pampers, one of P&G’s billion-dollar global brands, this Account Manager role will function as part of a collaborative and diverse group of Agency team members who work across multiple disciplines.  

The team is designed to help bring exciting new marketing solutions to drive business growth for global, regional and local P&G brands. The role sits in a highly strategic team and demands problem-solving and analytical thinking. We work hard to continue to create award-winning campaigns— like the highly successful #PampersForPreemies. 

In this role you will work with talented people here and across the Europe region and the role will cover a diverse scope of work, from big idea generation, regional toolkits, UK end-to-end design, TV and social-only campaigns to dynamic content creation & optimisation. You will gain exposure to senior clients and agency stakeholders, providing a brilliant opportunity to accelerate your career in account management. 

Key Responsibilities  

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with all other departments within the agency, including the project management, planning and creative departments and be the key day-to day contact across multiple projects, delivering high levels of client servicing. 

  • Take the brief to the creative team(s) and manage feedback self-sufficiently. 

  • Ensure the smooth progress and delivery of all work in development, manage the projects and own the timing plans and budgets. Ensure expectations are set and managed both internally and externally. 

  • Oversee and approve all contact reports before they go to client and work with the Account Executive to prepare regular competitive reviews to be shared with the rest of the team and client. 

  • Oversee the delivery of campaigns with meticulous attention to detail from end to end, managing timing plans/status documents across projects, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure the team and projects stay on track. Ensure expectations are set and managed both internally and externally.  

  • Manage stakeholders, internal financial process and build and nurture strong relationships with all other departments within the agency.

  • Able to prioritize and organize work within existing systems and implement new ones to improve efficiency.  

  • Collaborative and diplomatic approach to working with external and internal partners.

  • Excellent understanding of the social landscape, sharing best-in-class practices, and helping create great work. 

  • Able to build strong client relationships at all levels, leading client meetings and calls as required. 

Qualifications

  • Experience working in account management. 

  • FMCG experience will be very useful but not essential. 

  • Experience of managing clients, delivering projects and working under your own initiative whilst collaborating within a team. 

  • Good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages.
