Job Description

Develop effective PR, digital/influencer marketing programs and assure they are managed for client satisfaction and agency profitability.  Collaborate with experts from other disciplines such as creative, digital, data analytics, and media to provide communications solutions that create influence and deliver business impacts. Recognize and pursue new business opportunities on the accounts for which he/she is assigned.  Provides leadership, training and development for those reporting to him/her.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
(but are not limited to)

• Understand client business (and the industry/industries in which it participates), provides appropriate and timely strategic counsel.

• Develop result-oriented plans, develops ideas to expand programs, resulting in superior outcome and increased agency revenues.

• Cross-sells other MSLGROUP/Publicis resources to clients, as appropriate.

• Know media needs and appropriate channels for dissemination of information and editorial line-up.

• Build and manage media/KOL relations.

• Guide account staff on media/KOL relation strategies.

• Develop plans and techniques for generating and pursuing new business and assist in the development of new business presentations.

• Activate and monitor projects to ensure that deadlines and quality standards are met.

• Ensure adequate resources to meet budgetary requirements.

• Ensure each account team member has a clear understanding of expected performance and its contribution to the agency’s objectives.

• Identify the training and development needs of account executives and assistants and discuss with directors to facilitate opportunities which enable staff members to reach their full potential.

Qualifications

• Min. 5 years working in digital and/or communications.

• Experience living in the social media universe—you’re in-the-know on Pinterest, YouTube, WhatsApp, Instagram, Reddit, Kik, Flickr, Forums, Twitter, Wikis, blogs, etc.

• Excellent research and writing skills—and the ability to create smart social content quickly (please include links to examples of your work in your application).

• A passion for blogging, microblogging and Facebooking.

• A strong understanding of marketing strategy, particularly feed marketing.

• Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing.

• The ability to back up great creative ideas with sound analytical reasoning.

• The ability to identify threats and opportunities in user generated content.

• Knowledge of search engine optimization basics.

• Willingness to travel—you’re open to new places, new faces and new ideas.

• Must be a Malaysian citizen.
