Tired of the old way of doing things? So are we! We're looking for a creative person who can make any project run smoothly, likes people, is smart, and wants to own the burgeoning world of online video. Like to do things differently? We want your brain as our new Producer.

Creative & Project Management:

• Responsible for the flawless execution of projects from brief to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
• Develop creative concepts, proposals, & budgets based on client needs
• Manage all aspects of the production process, including budgets (pre-, during-, and post-production)
• Compose and edit scripts, or provide screenwriters with story outlines from which scripts can be written
• Manage assigned internal and external resources
• Coordinate the activities of writers, directors, managers, and other personnel throughout the production process

Client Management:

• Participate in and/or lead client meetings and presentations
• Conduct and participate in meetings to discuss production progress and ensure production objectives are achieved
• Present content for client approval at all appropriate stages of creative and production
• Obtain internal approvals at all appropriate stages of creative and production

Team Leadership:

• Perform management activities such as budgeting, scheduling, and planning
• Meet with the senior management on a regular basis to discuss client issues and present solutions to make things better
• Identify and pursue client opportunities

Who you are:

• University degree in Broadcast Journalism, Business, Film, Advertising, Communications, Marketing, or other relevant discipline an asset
• Ideally you have 1-3 years of experience in television, video and/or film production
• You have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with heavy workloads and short deadlines

·       You bring demonstrated organizational and project management skills along with the ability to think and communicate strategically

• You bring experience in assisting in the development of program content, including researching, writing and editing
• You have a working knowledge of leading edge online, video, film and broadcasting technology
• Experience working with multiple sources of content
• Ability to assess, work and deliver on client needs
• An excellent communicator, you pride yourself on your ability to be a team player and manage multiple projects
