Job Description

As an Account Manager, Digital, you will be working as part of a collaborative account team to develop and deliver strategic, creative, client programs. Your job is to tell the client’s story and relentlessly pursue the best ROI, with a focus on driving exciting content across all brand social platforms to influence, inspire, and engage your audience on a variety of topics. In this position, you will be responsible for the development and management of social and digital media strategies, programs, and teams across North. 

This role requires a passionate team player who is not only a strategic thinker but can also develop integrated plans and project manage a team in the social, digital, content and influencer strategy space. An essential ingredient of success is the ability to partner and collaborate with a number of internal and external stakeholders as well as having a solid understanding of the constantly evolving media landscape.

Some of the amazing work you’ll do:

  • Drive an integrated POE (Paid / Owned / Earned) digital strategy and oversee execution for one of our largest clients
  • Lead a large team in an integrated IAT environment working closely with discipline leads
  • Manage a large budget with multiple moving pieces across planning, creative, and production
  • Ensure alignment between content and media strategy with a focus on creating digital experiences (media strategy managed externally)
  • Develop and implement cross-channel ((Facebook, Twitter, Google AdWords for video) digital marketing strategies that map back to program KPIs and business goals
  • Lead community management strategies around customer service-related issues to enhance Brand community experience
  • Understand digital platform technologies and ad formats required to set up and track performance across Facebook, Twitter, and Google
  • Lead budget forecasting and account profitability with a focus on organic client growth
  • Lead creative strategy (visuals and messaging) for brand content based on brand guidelines and client objectives
  • Act as a brand steward and maintain expert understanding of industry and digital marketing best practices
  • Lead brainstorming / ideation sessions that result in actionable outcomes
  • Coach, develop and mentor junior team members

 

Qualifications

Who you are:

  • 4-7 years of agency or client-side experience with a focus on digital and social strategy
  • Strong understanding of paid and owned digital media, bonus if you have some B2B experience
  • Extensive experience and proficiency in developing POE strategies in the digital space
  • You have experience working with big brands, proven client leadership and can simplify complexity, navigate ambiguity, and plan large budgets that support multiple business units and objectives
  • You’re a digital expert and understand the relationship between content and media in creating digital experiences, and the role of paid vs. organic strategies.
  • Strong social-first copywriting; Proficiency in working across digital platforms and formats (Facebook / Instagram, TikTok Twitter, YouTube, Tumblr, WhatsApp and Snapchat, etc…), with experience developing success measurement frameworks
  • Skilled at analyzing data, deriving insights and building recommendations informed by data
  • Experience developing and executing community management strategies
  • You are a leader. You understand the difference between managing and leading and love to empower people to grow and succeed.
  • You aren’t afraid to get into the weeds with your team. You take a hands-on approach to leadership and have a desire to get involved in the day-to-day operations of your accounts – there’s nothing.
  • Ability to foster strong relationships with internal PR counterparts, Notch Video production team, and Integrated Agency Team partners
  • You have experience working in a complex IAT environment and understand the opportunities and challenges that can come along with that
  • You are a strategic thinker who can look at the big picture and consider all elements of a plan to recommend the best course of action for your clients.
  • Creative Thinker. You love to brainstorm and help to develop made-for-social creative that drives performance based on client objectives. You’ll do this in partnership with our partners at Notch Video.
