Job Description

Are you someone who enjoys coming up with content ideas that deliver on a client brief? Are you a confident writer, with experience editing and mapping out campaigns? Do you enjoy working in the employee space?

If so … let’s chat.

At MSL we work across industries with some of the world’s best-known brands to create a variety of experiences, from social campaigns to web content and in-person activations.

We’re looking for a Senior Content Strategist with strong copywriting skills to join our team.

Here’s what we offer:
●    The opportunity to really push your creativity: we don’t just want to copy and paste our work. Each project is based in insight and fuelled by creativity.
●    The chance to develop your creative and strategic skills: you’ll work closely with our creative and content leads to apply best practice to our work. You’ll also have access to Publicis Groupe’s learning and development programme to further your knowledge.
●    The ownership to pitch your work to clients and own your projects from a content strategy perspective.
●    The space to develop your own writing craft: when you’re not working on strategy, you could be creating content – from articles to creative campaigns to big PR moments to pretty much anything. We’ve seen a lot of our copy on the sides of buses recently.
●    And the opportunity to work with creatives, designers, writers, UX specialists and more in our team – and across our sister agencies – on global projects.

Qualifications

We’re looking for a Senior Content Strategist with at least three years experience in a content strategy role. You’ll need to be comfortable coming up with social content (including video) ideas, mapping out channel/content/campaign plans, writing in a brand’s TOV, and mentoring junior writers on the team.

The ideal candidate is someone who:

●    Thinks audience insights first, and considers how to use messaging, channels, formats and creative to engage them.
●    Knows social inside out – you understand what kind of content performs well on all the major channels and are familiar with the latest formats and functionality.
●    Either has experience working in the employee space or wants to learn more about it..
●    Knows how paid/earned/owned can be used to achieve different objectives.
●    Has written for brands' social channels before.
●    Enjoys the detail – you’re a stickler for consistent spelling and character counts.
●    Likes working collaboratively, shaping ideas as part of a team.
●    Can think strategically about how content fits into the bigger picture, and is happy working with other departments to create seamless campaign plans.
●    Wants to build client relationships – you’ll have the opportunity to build the relationships with our clients to create the work that inspires you.

And finally, someone who wants their work to stand out. Who wants to reach with the big global projects but also create moments of joy with the smaller projects.
