Job Description

This role is part of the Digital Strategy & Activation team within APEX.  APEX is centralized hub within Publicis Media.

The Digital Strategy & Activation team within APEX acts as a centralized resource providing tactical planning recommendations, margin analysis, media and data strategy, vendor relations, campaign pacing, reporting, and optimization, billing, and client support. 

Digital Supervisors of Programmatic & Social Delivery will work alongside the Strategy & Activation team, specifically managing our programmatic and social partners, maintaining a high knowledge of these partners and their capabilities, as well as being responsible for specialists & associates growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for planning of programmatic campaigns on self-serve DSP platforms like DV360 and The Trade Desk
  • Responsible for planning of social campaigns, namely TikTok
  • Devise optimization strategies to improve performance on active campaigns and future activations
  • Collaborate with Strategy and activation team on client KPIs, programmatic and social tactics and execution
  • Work directly with various off-shore teams on campaign set up, pacing, performance and audience targeting
  • Maintains knowledge of ad technology buying platforms and analytics tools
  • Assists in the evaluation of new tools, opportunities, and enhancements in the programmatic space

Day to Day Expectations:

  • Understand the importance of communication – Keeping it simple, clear and concise within email and meetings both internally, with clients, and with partners
  • Develop, produce, and/or deploy optimized process and workflow
  • Drive revenue and incremental business for APEX
  • Build out and grow your designated support team to that is assigned to the business you’re responsible for.  Develop a focus on strengthening their job skills so they are at the top of their game - as well as progressing their long term career growth.
  • Strive for a solutions-orientated approach to mitigate/fix any issue, escalating to management when your other options have been exhausted; it is important to feel confident in your decisions prior to talking to your manager.
  • Enforce and encourage streamlined process with each client
  • Attend and actively participate/ask questions in partner presentations, team meetings, leadership sessions, etc.

  • Effectively Lead Assigned Business:
  • Ensure that important updates are provided to the team in a clear and concise manner, and that all teams are fully up to speed on said updates
  • Manage and organize opportunity trackers for your team and accounts (excel or Salesforce)
  • Create an environment where team members are encouraged to speak up and participate in all meetings – internal and external
  • Encourage strategic thinking/solutions to team; provide examples of how this was executed in team meetings; Be proactive not reactive
  • Encourage agency teams to ask for incremental based off strong performance and pacing

Qualifications

Additional Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in the day-to-day programmatic campaign management, working across multiple DSPs
  • Experience in the day-to-day of social campaigns is a plus
  • Ability to strategize programmatic tactics, technology and make budget recommendations
  • Implement client campaign objectives into programmatic & social activation strategies
  • Familiarity with industry measurement reports, requirements and set up
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work\oversee off shore team.
