Job Description

Publicis Media is now looking for a new EMEA/UK planning executive to work on one of our most exciting clients, Disney. This is an opportunity to work on a globally disruptive brand, a real “people business” and be part of a team leading the change and driving businesses into the future. 
This role will be split 50/50 between two of Disney’s key lines of business:

  • Disney Studios UK Digital Media Distribution team working with the support of a planning director and planning manager on the development of industry beating paid media campaigns for the world’s biggest and best films made available for rental or purchase online, through the likes of Amazon Prime and Apple Store. 
  • Disney Studios EMEA Account Team: Supporting the EMEA Studios account team with process, operation and planning related projects impacting the c15 EMEA markets with a Studios remit.
     

Responsibilities:

  • Helping develop effective, efficient and exciting cross channel media channel strategies, rooted in unquestionable rationale, for Disney DMD and Parks teams.
  • Helping manage through campaign assignments from Brief to PCA, with the support of the wider planning team.
  • Helping develop PPT recommendation responses, excel media plans and post campaign reports, ensuring quality at every step.
  • Forging close connections with the UKs biggest and best media owners to ensure the planning team are fuelled with the latest platform updates.
  • Becoming the master of a range of media planning tools.
  • Managing through campaign activations to ensure plan components go live smoothly and successfully.
  • Supporting the planning manager in delivering absolute financial accuracy and PO management.
  • Keeping on the pulse of industry news, ensuring the team are informed of your findings.
  • Building positive working relationships with junior clients.
  • Supporting on the building out of new processes to be adopted by 18 x markets.
  • Helping maintain a clear line of sight on 18 x markets campaign approaches for each film.

Qualifications

  • Will be keen to learn, positive and enthusiastic.
  • The ideal candidate will be interested in people, what makes them tick and how to influence their behaviours.  
  • Will be a self-sufficient, self-starter in supporting the team.
  • A confident multi tasker and happy to work in a fast paced environment. Studios campaign planning differs hugely from always on media planning, at any one time you may be working on 3-4 releases at different stages amongst other tasks.
  • You will continually keep up-to-date with market developments and embrace the new. You take great pride in delivering outstanding work in all assigned tasks.
  • An interest in Disney is a must.
  • Perfect for someone looking to develop UK planning skills while also gaining exposure to regional tasks.
