We are Disney fanatics and have created a unique UK and EMEA hybrid team to deliver not only excellence in market, but also be the guiding light for the region when it comes to planning. Job Description

Publicis Media is now looking for a new Account Manager to work on one of our latest and most exciting clients, Disney. This is an opportunity to work on a globally disruptive brand, a real “people business” and be part of a team leading the change and driving businesses into the future.

This role is to work as the day-to-day Account Manager for the Media Networks lines of business, in both the UK and across EMEA

  • Alongside the Account Director, day to day contact for key clients across Disney’s TV channels (Fox, National Geographic, Disney Channel and Disney Junior), and responsible for the smooth running of the business
  • Hybrid role working on UK planning and expanding into Regional activation planning and EMEA strategic and account management
  • Develop ongoing media landscape knowledge through regular and proactive media owner meetings, as well as entertainment industry knowledge
  • Support Account Director in overseeing and driving best-practice thinking and output  with daily client collaboration
  • Management of the Senior Executive, supporting their learning and training needs, expanding their knowledge, managing their workload and ensuring they are delivering strong work
  • Alongside Account Director, key point of contact for any non-campaign specific requirements (eg relationships reviews, internal reporting and forecasting).
  • Be an active participant in helping build the Publicis Imagine team and culture, contribute back to the agency via broader Publicis Media participation.

UK Planning

  • Have an active role in strategic and media planning alongside the Account Director and Strategy Manager – putting together responses to brief, reviewing specialists proposals and presenting it to the client
  • Ensure strategic direction is followed through from client brief to activation ideas and execution with the investment team, tracking pacing of live campaigns
  • Project manage and collaborate closely with Investment, Audience Insights and Digital Hub teams to plan and activate campaigns.
  • The delivery of regular reports and documents to support smooth running of the team.
  • Supporting on all financial and reporting workstreams.

EMEA Planning

  • Support Account Director and Business Lead on annual planning and ensuring strategic direction is followed through from client brief to activation ideas and execution
  • Work with local market teams across EMEA to ensure best practice implementation of campaigns, as well as providing operational direction and support
  • Network management and coordination across over 20 local markets, including onboarding of new team members, and management of cross-market deliverables.
  • Understand and learn about media nuance in each market to help inform central decisions.

Qualifications

  • Someone who will make an impact on our business, bringing ideas and a point of view
  • 3-4 years of media experience, either in a UK local role or global / EMEA role
  • An interest in the following categories is a must, experience working in one is a bonus:
    • Film and entertainment
    • Media network/channel
    • Streaming services
  • Passionate about The Walt Disney Company and everything its brands have to offer
  • Strong cross-channel media knowledge
  • Previous experience on an account with centralised digital activation would be of interest
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, able to work in a fast paced environment and juggle multiple projects and tasks at once
  • Culturally aware, confident, collaborative and enthusiastic
