Job Description

The expectations for this role fall into 3 key categories:

1.    Developing Teams & Talent

  • Understand roles and responsibilities within the team
  • Contribute to training of Sr Associates/Associates on their team and billing/reconciliation team individuals
  • Reviews and supports goals of Sr./Associates

2.    Delivering on Our Value Proposition

  • Collaborate with partners as company representative, understands partner portfolio offerings and can identify client opportunities
  • Collaborate in negotiations and campaigns and manages performance conversations with partners for assigned clients
  • Develop campaigns that partner with preferred partners and execute campaign management and delivery in full of assigned accounts across most steps independently with highest accuracy,
  • Understand fundamentals in negotiations to maximize profit on a campaign basis; Independently develop and execute performance and delivery of assigned accounts.

 3.    Managing Business & Operations

  • Contribute to strategic execution & delivery
  • Owns RFP/post-sale process for assigned accounts and can troubleshoot minor issues and escalate when needed
  • Can execute process with minimal oversight and high degree of accuracy
  • Establish expectations through clear communication with client and vendor;
  • Understands billing process through owning RFI process, reconciliation of invoices in Mediaocean and posting confirmations

 

Qualifications

TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS

We value diversity of thought and experiences at APEX! If you learned about media from the sales or agency side, that’s great but we do need folks with a basic level of understanding of how media investment works.

  •  At least 1-2 years of experience with Basic knowledge of Out of Home media is critical for success in this role
  • Diverse backgrounds and experience are welcome including Agency Planning/Investment, Media Sales, Consulting and/or Media Client Side
  • Basic knowledge of media systems/tools, Mediaocean, Salesforce and MS Office Suite (must be proficient in Excel)
  • Strong media financial acumen is mandatory
  • Business financial acumen is preferred
  • Basic understanding of the media landscape
