Job Description

The Client Finance Accountant contributes to a smooth running finance department and ensures that supplier invoices and billings are processed analyzed and interpreted in a timely, efficient way with a positive attitude. They know and adhere to deadlines and build relationships that aide the wider agencies to adhere to these guidelines & deadlines.

The Client Finance Accountant ensures that the Brands reputation with suppliers, clients, and other group companies is maintained to a high standard. They are a key tie from finance functions of the agency and Groupe into the agencies. Their ability to participate in agency culture and output whilst maintaining the control, integrity and confidentiality of the function is a key aspect of their role.

The role

Billing Responsibilities:

  • Distribute, review, and process of your allocated client online Job Cost reports through to proforma reviews and invoicing to deadline
  • Review any issues that may conflict to client’s contractual agreement. Review the revenue against the current forecast for your client. 
  • Distribute invoices and statements to agreed timelines for clients or internal financial deadlines.
  • Create a harmonious and courteous working relationship with the Billing Co-ordinator at Re:sources Australia and ensure their set billing timelines are met.
  • Review the aged trial balance for your allocated clients every week.

Accounts Payable Functions:

  • Assigning and the coding of supplier invoices through the AP Central function.
  • Reviewing and processing of staff expense claims
  • Reviewing the weekly payment run with the NZ finance team 
  • Setting up new supplier accounts with Re:sources Malaysia
  • Accurate filing of creditor payments and expenses.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Tracking the employee timesheets
  • Constantly looking at ways that we can improve the efficiency and processes in finance
  • Annual & rolling budgets and monthly forecasting across your billings clients
  • Improve client profitability (with finance leader support).

  • Excellent communication skills. Able to accurately communicate information to and from staff and suppliers
  • Outstanding organisational abilities. Be able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and  able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail. Ensures that all information is accurately recorded and deadlines met
  • Is able to quickly assimilate information, and learn from past experiences.  Be inquisitive and have a genuine interest in advertising
  • Proactive and able to work independently
  • Work and plays well with others.
