Job Description

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our Recruitment team in Toronto. 

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator makes a huge difference in what we do.  We want to ensure candidates have an amazing experience during the interview process beginning with coordinating the interview.  The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will provide administrative support and project assistance to the Talent Acquisition team. This position will help coordinate a smooth and efficient interview and on-boarding process for all new hires.  The position requires superior communication skills and excellent organizational abilities with a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the interview process with candidates, hiring managers, and recruiting team including scheduling interviews
  • Review and evaluate applications for a variety of open roles
  • Responsible for all candidate correspondence and follow-up
  • Responsible for getting timely feedback from our hiring managers and communicating next steps to the candidate if needed
  • Create and distribute all employment related correspondence to candidates and hiring managers for the interview process (applications, forms, offer letters, etc.)
  • Maintain the data integrity of our ATS and external sites for job posts
  • Send and follow up on new hire and temporary employee paperwork, ensuring that all the information is submitted to Human Resources
  • Responsible for any weekly, monthly, annual reports needed for Talent Acquisition team
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects when required
  • Identify opportunities for improving candidate experience and scheduling efficiency
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in related field preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of HR/administrative related work experience or internships
  • Prefer experience in a high volume recruitment process
  • Proficient usage of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Flexible and organized with strong prioritization and time management skills
  • Capable of handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Proactive self-starter with proven ability to handle multiple projects with various deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual (English and French) is beneficial
  • Must be able to demonstrate analytical skills, solid strategic thinking, top-notch organizational skills and team work
