Job Description

We are looking for a leader and creator who is also a strategic thinker. This role will help lead the overall creative direction of our Beauty and Wellness work with clients and teams. This position requires creative expertise and a business mind-set across a broad range of disciplines, mediums, and channels (in-store display, out-of-store, digital, content creation, etc.).

Day to Day

  • Provides transparent and constructive real-time feedback and direction
  • Clearly and concisely articulates innovative, comprehensive, omni-channel ideas rooted in strategy
  • Passionately sells and defends the work internally and externally
  • A leader and mentor to the team who finds opportunity for the ACD to lead
  • Client partner and agency representative
  • Attends work reviews and elevates the work across touch points
  • Leads inspiring brainstorms to successfully generate innovative ideas
  • Conducts consistent one-on-one meetings and growth planning and holds the team accountable
  • Works with the ACD and other CDs to build effective client presentation decks that tell a story of the work
  • Attends large initiative kickoffs and ensures the creative team has what they need to start a job
  • Leader in new business pitches, workshops, and creation of strategic solutions for growing our client’s business (e.g., SSX’s Blueprint for Growth)
  • Able to take results and analytics and use it upstream to impact the work
  • Partners with account and strategy to bring ideas that align to organic growth targets to increase revenue

Qualifications

  • Proven ability in creating and producing successful, award-winning ideas from the ground up.
  • Must have experience in leading and managing a substantial piece of a client’s business and people.
  • Proficient in file management, time management, and organization and a pro at graphic software (i.e., the Adobe Suite).
  • College degree is preferred; however, competency is evaluated based on body of work.
  • 10+ years of experience.
