Job Description

We are looking for an innovative leader with a keen understanding of the ever-evolving world of social media, digital content and ecommerce. This role will help Saatchi X champion the social commerce space.

Day to Day

  • Champion the brand, commerce, and creative point-of-view in the social commerce space, where content meets commerce
  • Build and manage a highly creative, agile, and responsive socially-driven content practice that delivers industry leading engagement and demand generation
  • Craft insights that drive smart commerce marketing campaigns through a deep understanding of the consumer/shopper, social landscape, and the retailer’s and client's business
  • Drive creation and curation of content—enable our creative teams to develop and deploy the right message at the right time, via the right channel, creator, or influencer to inspire, engage, or inform consumers and customers
  • Amplify content—understand ways to scale content through Owned, Paid, Earned, and Shared channels, working on integrated marketing plans to help social content become visible to the right audience at the right time
  • Map how social media, particularly emerging platforms, can be leveraged to drive retail sales and make it easier for customers to shop on social 
  • Communicate with platform partners on a regular basis to stay informed of new opportunities

Qualifications

 

  • 8+ years developing innovative digital, commerce, and social media initiatives for consumer brands at a social platform, agency and/or in-house at an innovative, fast-paced consumer brand.
  • Fluent in established and emerging social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Clubhouse, and more 
  • Skilled at developing and maintaining highly collaborative cross-functional internal and external relationships. This highly cross-functional role will work across agency and client functions including customer teams, brand marketing, media, data analytics, and external agencies and partners to launch breakthrough social commerce strategies and campaigns that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Expert knowledge in the CPG vertical, including e-commerce, marketplace, retail media and social commerce
  • Strong knowledge of commerce systems, experience design, analytics, and delivery approaches
