Heartbeat’s synergistic approach to fulfilling client needs allows the Associate Media Planner to be client facing while he/she simultaneously works with internal departments from conception to completion, making creative suggestions and providing input throughout campaign creation and ongoing optimization.      

This position would be responsible for helping to develop digital-centric media plans in accordance with the objectives, strategies and goals communicated by Heartbeat’s senior media staff and roster of top tier clients.  In keeping with Heartbeat’s philosophy of ‘next new’ you would also be responsible for meeting with vendors and sales reps to ensure our company stays on top of emerging media platforms and offerings. 

Desired Skills and Experience 

Job Requirements:  

  • Bachelors Degree  

  • 0-1 years of media planning experience across all channels  

  • Knowledge of the terminology and mechanics of the advertising industry  

  • Strong negotiation skills 

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment  

  • Superior communication skills  

  • Ability work independently while contributing to team goals  

  • Working knowledge of 3rd party software is a plus: specifically DoubleClick, Google Analytics, Facebook Ad Manager  

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint  

Qualifications

Job Qualifications:  

  • Understanding of CPM, CPC, CPA, and CPL buying models 

  • Ability to present ideas and gain consensus and support  

  • A high level of energy and initiative to explore, conceptualize and implement new processes and work flows  

  • Experience working with Pharmaceutical clients
