Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our team working on a great entertainment client!

The Senior Account Manager is responsible for directing and managing assigned client engagements and leading the agency team to successful completion of all project work. The Senior Account Manager will oversee internal resources & agency leads assigned to a client engagement, with direct responsibility for delivering work on-time, on-budget and on-strategy. The ideal candidate will have outstanding project management skills, and be a motivated, strategic thinker with a proven track record of successful client and team management. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide daily client contact, focused on execution and project management
  • Manage the delivery of a variety of project types (email and direct mail campaign development and production, strategy, etc.)
  • Represent the agency in all client & partner-agency communications on a weekly or daily basis
  • Represent the voice of the client in all internal discussions
  • Work with department leads to ensure all commitments are properly articulated to the assigned resources
  • Produce project proposals, vendor requests, change orders and job matrices accurately and quickly and updates all documents throughout project
  • Develop detailed schedules, budget and job launch briefs for all projects
  • Accurately manage budgets and other necessary billing details to maintain profitable projects
  • Track and monitor all hours associated with each assigned project
  • Accurately identify and assess scope changes and their impact on the schedule and budget
  • Develop and maintain expertise in all areas of an assigned client’s business
  • Manage and lead all external and internal project meetings
  • Maintain accurate project documentation on Rauxa project management systems
  • Ensure the final deliverables meet the quality and expectations of the agency and the client
  • Potentially supervise Account Coordinators, providing ongoing direction to ensure that all jobs are managed effectively and efficiently
  • Act as a leader within the Account Service team, providing training and support for junior team members
  • Build lasting client and agency relationships

Qualifications

Who You Are:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • You have 4 or more total years of digital or direct marketing agency experience 
  • You have experience with managing email and digital campaign development and production projects
  • You have a solid understanding of marketing best-practices 
  • You have demonstrated an ability to solve complex problems creatively 
  • You have the ability to work effectively in a fast paced, highly dynamic atmosphere and react quickly to changes 
  • You have the ability to manage several very complex projects with minimal supervision 
  • You have the ability to represent the agency to all levels of the client organization, including executive level management
  • You have proven database, direct marketing and creative development skills
  • You have excellent organizational skills, including attention to precise details and accuracy 
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • You have strong presentation and persuasion skills.
