Job Description

The Digital Analyst is responsible for working with internal and external clients to deliver dashboards, insightful analytics, creative and optimization recommendations related to media, mobile, web and social media analytics. The Digital Analyst will work with a team of other analytics and data science professionals and creative & strategic planning teams to collect and analyze data related to the performance of various campaign initiatives. The Digital Analyst is highly analytical, team oriented, entrepreneurial and able to work independently.

What You'll Do:

  • Determine the effectiveness of marketing campaigns by analyzing page clicks, social media activity, search engine traffic, and other data.
  • Advise marketing teams on current campaigns, informing them on which aspects of campaigns are the most effective and which are not, and advising them on how to tweak campaigns to get maximum attention and create more revenue.
  • Cultivate and maintain client relationships by providing frequent updates on the status of campaigns and making suggestions to increase marketing effectiveness when necessary.
  • Write detailed reports showing the amount of traffic online campaigns are creating, how much campaigns cost, and outlining the timetables and schedules for online marketing campaigns.

Qualifications

Who You Are:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, Computer Science, Decision Science, Economics, Information Management Studies, Integrated Marketing Communications, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, Psychology, Sociology or equivalent, dual degree with Marketing or Business preferred.
  • You have 1-3 years of work experience in marketing analytics or related field such as advertising, marketing, media measurement, etc.
  • You are comfortable with data analysis in Excel: Pivots, formulas, macros, vlookup tables, etc.
  • You have a basic working knowledge of marketing/advertising/research principles.
  • You have a working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau & Power BI.
  • You have a basic – intermediate understanding of the implementation & analysis of web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics/Google Analytics or ad server solutions (DCM, Trade Desk, etc.).
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
