Publicis Groupe has been appointed by Beiersdorf as the global agency partner for NIVEA, the world’s leading skin-care brand, for every market globally. For NIVEA we have built a bespoke agency called Publicis One Touch, a name that embodies the NIVEA brand purpose of ‘The Power of Touch’.  

Publicis One Touch is a new agency model that brings together data, creativity and technology to help build a truly integrated approach to the Nivea brand. This model is designed to dramatically improve the effectiveness, efficiency, creativity and consistency of NIVEA marketing.  

To deliver the creative scope and the implementation we will have powerhouses across 8 hubs in New York, Sao Paulo, Cape Town, Dubai, Mumbai, Shanghai, Bangkok, Moscow. The new Agency will be led from a Hamburg HQ, and use a network of Publicis One Touch teams in over 40 other markets to cover the NIVEA world.

Stellenbeschreibung

Purpose of Role: The Regional Asset Coordinator (RAC) is a key role within the asset management team. Their primary role is to be a guardian and gatekeeper of the BDF DAM; the single repository for all marketing assets created for Beiersdorf globally. 

Primarily responsible for 2 tasks;

1 - for uploading all Regionally created master campaign assets to the BDF DAM. 

2 - for ensuring all locally adapted assets are prepared accurately according to the BDF naming taxonomy and overseeing a small team of content uploaders in Poland.

The role sits under the Global Asset Manager who is responsible for managing all global campaign assets and supporting both BDF and POT teams with daily requests. 

Publicis One Touch is a bespoke agency created specifically to serve the needs of Beiersdorf.   Born from many parts of the Publicis Groupe network working closely together to support the client’s needs as a ‘one-stop-shop’.  The team (consisting of Leo Burnett, Saatchi & Saatchi, Rokkan, MSL, Digitas, Zenith, Prodigious, Sapient, Pixelpark and Translate Plus) sit together across 9 regional HUBS to provide the client and Groupe global network with a streamlined communications and operating model – fully leveraging the Publicis Groupe capabilities. 

 

Regional Asset Coordination

This role supports 9 x Regional POT hubs across the world. The RAC is responsible for supporting the Regional POT teams and hubs to ensure that all assets created Regionally conform to the BDF naming taxonomy including the addition of Media ID numbers when appropriate.  The role will also be responsible for ensuring all assets are uploaded to the DAM with the correct meta-tagging in place.  To enable this you will need to work closely with your POT colleagues from all over the world – most specifically, North America (NY), LatAm (Brazil), Germany, South Africa (Jo’burg), UAE (Dubai), Russia, Thailand (Bangkok), India (Mumbai) and China (Shanghai) - supporting them with the information them need to upload their assets in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner.

 

Adaptation Asset Preparation

The RAC will also be responsible for preparing all adapted assets prior to uploading, working with 2 content uploaders based near-shore in Poland and another Regional coordinator. To enable this you will need to work closely with the 3 key adaptation hubs based in Canada, Poland and Thailand as well as 3 smaller hubs based in Dubai, South Africa and Russia whilst overseeing the work from the team in Poland. 

 

Responsibilities 

The RAC responsibilities are organized into the following two disciplines;

1 – Regional Master Campaigns

  • Supporting the Global Asset Managers (Sabine Zintel) in her role managing Global master assets.  
  • Understanding this role completely including access to servers, sites, suppliers and clients to enable holiday cover and support in busy periods.
  • Awareness and oversight of the BDF asset naming convention – ensuring that all assets align with BDF naming requirements.
  • Working alongside Michael Belheit to ensure all campaign assets created by the POT Adaptation Hubs are uploaded into market folders on the BDF DAM ensuring the correct BDF file naming is applied.
  • Establishing the process for all regional hubs to upload adapted assets. Ongoing training and support for all Regional adaptation Hubs.

 

3 – Supporting Local Campaign Adaptations 

  • Supporting 6 Adaptation Hubs and 2 Content uploaders based in Poland on Asset Naming  & correcting file names before assets are uploaded. 
  • Overseeing the upload of all master project files for Type 3 + Type 4 adapted projects from 6 Implementation Hubs.  
  • Ensuring that full meta-tagging process is in place for every asset
  • Ensuring assets have been uploaded to the correct country market folders 
  • Ensuring all assets include a Master Campaign ID: Aligned with  MARS MX Master data file and a media Media Campaign ID: Six digit Media Campaign #, e.g. 000002, 000065
  • Adjusting the process whenever necessary to ensure a smooth and constant stream of work for the team in Poland.

Qualifikationen

  • Methodical, detail orientated and a lover of order.
  • Adept at working within a team structure.
  • Good communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Great people skills that will help to build trust with your agency colleagues and teams globally. 
  • Ability to analyze organizational and process challenges, and to recommend improvements.
  • Multi-lingual a plus (but not essential).  
  • Knowledge of advertising production within a creative agency or production company a bonus (but not essential).
