About the client:

Our client is global Hygiene and Health company. They are “Dedicated to improving well-being through leading hygiene and health solutions”. They have a stronghold in Europe with the Americas and Asia accelerating.

They are mostly present across Feminine and Incontinence Care, Kitchen and Toilet hygiene across both B2C and B2B.

They believe in brand building and as such have developed award winning, creative and  purpose-led campaigns.

They also have a strong focus on sustainability, which is a key pillar of each brand’s marketing strategy.

Job Description

This Global Digital Planning Director will operate in the  B2B Hub team. The role aims to deliver best in class digital activations, driving performance planning for all campaigns and providing strategic guidance for campaign activation across key segments.  The candidate will work with dedicated activation channel teams to drive optimisation recommendations and will lead internal briefings of performance teams.

The candidate will report to the Global Digital Business Director and will work manage our Global Digital Planning Manager and Operations Manager.

Responsibilities:      

  • Own strong relationship with performance clients
  • Develop Digital Strategic Guidelines for key campaigns
  • Work with client business lead  for media to look for ways to optimise the client relationship
  • You will be supported by a digital planning manager and an operations Manager and will work collaboratively to optimise the digital operations and activation of channels
  • Work with key Global JBP partners like LinkedIn to ensure we are up to speed on Betas / Studies
  • Create POV’s on digital data, insight, and measurement
  • Key POC for Digital Media Activation and working collaboratively to ensure that the messaging and formats are optimised
  • Lead the creation of Mid-Campaign and PCA’s for centralised campaigns
  • Proactively identify new solutions and help with educating the client
  • Displays critical thinking and challenges internal and external outputs

Qualifications

Who we’re looking for:   

Someone with global or local digital media planning & buying experience, who has previously led campaigns for B2B clients.

It is important that you have a desire to work on B2B and that you understand how customers connect in relation to products and services in this space. 

Following on from this you also need to understand and articulate how platforms can enable B2B brands to engage with consumers and influence their behaviour.

You will enjoy working with activation teams across search, social and programmatic to help devise plans across the main categories.  You will need to understand the different media and data partners in the marketplace and have very strong attention to detail. As a strong team player who is results-driven, you will come into this role ready to take responsibility for driving he effective implementation of activity within the accounts.

Key requirements:

  • Used to dealing with senior clients who are experts in branding media
  • Excellent presentation skills who can present complex and technical digital topics in a clear and concise manner to those in non-technical roles
  • Effective and persuasive communication and client management skills to align client and agency teams
  • Advanced XLS skills
  • Strong team player who is keen to learn and upskill others in the team
  • Good understanding and experience in managing ROI focused campaigns
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Experience in using tools as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager
  • French speaking is desirable but not essential
