Publicis Groupe has been appointed by Beiersdorf as the global agency partner for NIVEA, the world’s leading skin-care brand, for every market globally. For NIVEA we have built a bespoke agency called Publicis One Touch, a name that embodies the NIVEA brand purpose of ‘The Power of Touch’.  

Publicis One Touch is a new agency model that brings together data, creativity and technology to help build a truly integrated approach to the Nivea brand. This model is designed to dramatically improve the effectiveness, efficiency, creativity and consistency of NIVEA marketing.  

To deliver the creative scope and the implementation we will have powerhouses across 8 hubs in New York, Sao Paulo, Cape Town, Dubai, Mumbai, Shanghai, Bangkok, Moscow. The new Agency will be led from a Hamburg HQ, and use a network of Publicis One Touch teams in over 40 other markets to cover the NIVEA world.

Job Description

  • Strategic leadership of specific NIVEA category communication - Provides a clear strategic direction for the team in support of business objectives
  • Supports Category Business Leads in all aspects of communication strategy development
  • Supports clients with development of internal sell-in strategies
  • Ensures strategies are informed by emerging consumer trends, competitive and category data and backed by rigorous, credible data and measurement. 
  • Develops briefing documents - All critical stages of ‘Make it Right’ and ‘Make it Magic’ stages of work development.
  • Creative briefing and review of creative work, providing effective feedback and ensuring brand consistency, relevance and effectiveness.
  • Input, consultancy, participation and implementation of consumer research.
  • Contribution to a strong client & agency trust and partnership
  • An increase in the number of approved campaigns by client annually.
  • Better and proven customer centricity and effectiveness of creative output.
  • Higher client satisfaction scores on agency strategic input.

 

Qualifications

  • Significant (min. 5 years) global expertise in the beauty or skincare marketing/communication sector
  • Demonstrates a sound knowledge of the broader, global business context in which the NIVEA brand operates.
  • Persuasive and effective communication skills
  • Collaborates effectively with creatives and clients to co-develop ideas and provides feedback in a helpful, and constructive way.
  • Contributes to building the image of an agency with a customer-first point of view.
  • Champions new ideas throughout  the organisation.
  • Regularly promotes the POT brand.
  • Creates opportunities for self and team development.
