Job Description

This is an integral part of the Creative and Production team within the Content Practice, reporting into a Senior Creative Producer. We produce a vast array of different content in multiple formats and channels. It’s an exciting, fast paced environment where no two projects are the same. The key purpose of the role is to help the production team to take and execute briefs within the Publicis Media network.

The role includes administrative and logistical support on larger projects, and more direct ownership of smaller projects.

The successful candidate will be extremely well organised, proactive and not afraid to tackle unfamiliar projects. This is a hybrid creative and production team, where producers are encouraged to offer creative ideas and solutions in brainstorms and client meetings.

 

About the candidate

 

The position requires a candidate that is motivated for success.

 

The candidate will need to work independently when required, be highly organised with a strong attention to detail. They’ll need to multi-task effectively with strong time management skills to help meet tight and often changing deadlines.

 

Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills  are a must. Likewise with the ability to confidently liaise with all levels of management and client stakeholders.

  

Key responsibilities

 

Some key responsibilities include:

 

-       Administrative responsibilities:

o   Updating weekly status documents.

o   Manage collaboration between producers, stakeholders, clients and suppliers.

o   Effective communication of key milestones and progress throughout projects,

o   Develop and build relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.

 

-       Producer responsibilities:

o   Helping assist in TV Administration including management clock books, Clearcast and working with Adstream/relevant traffic partner and ensuring that TVCs are delivered on time.

o   Timing and budget plans.

o   Assisting when required with pre-production, including kit hire, prop sourcing, casting and location research.

o   Draft call sheets, risk assessments & supplier contract forms.

o   Help organise freelancers & production suppliers.

o   Working with creative teams to ensure ideas presented are on budget.

o   Participating in brainstorms for new business and projects.

 

-       Finance Responsiblities:

o   Draft budgets in response to client or media planners briefs.

o   Support the studio management with raising POs, invoicing and payments.

o   Keep budget trackers up to date.

Qualifications

  • The ability to meet deadlines.
  • Organisation, time management and prioritisation of workload.
  • Confident people skills and able to interact with different levels of management. Candidate should have a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Confident with presentation to internal and external teams.
  • An basic understanding of media and advertising agency structure.
  • Software skills: Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint. A bonus would be skills in Indesign/Photoshop/Premiere, but this is not mandatory.
  • Ensuring projects stay within timescales and budget.
  • Structuring projects and devising processes that ensure efficiency.
  • Liaising with clients and members of the creative team, to keep projects running smoothly.
  • Able to use critical thinking to solve problems.
