Perhaps you already knew what you wanted to buy, but there were so many options that you needed help from a trusted review site. Or maybe you simply love combing coupon sites for hot deals. However you finally made your purchase, chances are you interacted with affiliate publishers along the way—whether they influenced you, provided helpful information, or made sure you got the best price. CJ provides the performance marketing platform that connects brands with these publishers to create valuable resources frequently used by shoppers such as yourself.  

The Senior Solutions Integration Engineer role is a unique hybrid of engineering, consulting, and technical account management responsibilities. It requires understanding clients’ marketing goals and tailoring CJ Affiliate’s technology to achieve those goals. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to solve challenging technical problems while working with some of the biggest names in advertising.

This is not a “behind the scenes” role. Once you are trained on our platform and tools, you will quickly start working directly on client issues and with our cross-functional teams. You will be involved at many stages of the client lifecycle from onboarding to campaign execution to ongoing maintenance. At the same time, you’ll have opportunities to impact how our teams work through tool development and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert in pre-sales, RFPs, and contract renewal processes for advertisers
• Manage 3-5 direct reports
• Lead complex and long-term integrations with largest advertisers on the CJ network
• Design custom and innovative solutions for advertisers leveraging CJ’s and advertiser’s suite of solutions, products, and features
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering stakeholders on tracking solution dependencies and client needs
• Strong understanding and adoption of third-party platforms used to integrate marketing technology
• Able to quickly learn about third party vendors leveraged by our clients
• Experience working with data file, tagging, API, and post back solutions (S2S)
• Train and educate Operations teams to support integrations using best in class tracking solutions
• Maintain subject matter expertise on the full scope of CJ tracking and integration solutions
• Work directly with advertisers and advertiser 3rd party developers to promote adoption of CJ solution requirements

Qualifications

• 5+ Years of experience in a Technical Role
• Ideal candidates will have an excellent business aptitude coupled with a strong technical background
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills, ability to convey technical aspects to a non-technical audience
• Demonstrated history of troubleshooting and problem solving in a fast-paced environment
• Prior consulting experience is desirable
• Strong attention to detail and delivery of high-quality results
• High level of expertise with web technologies
• Strong command of JavaScript/SQL and hands-on programming experience 
• Knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming
