Job Description

Under direct supervision of a Senior Project Manager, a Project Manager manages medium sized projects or phase(s) of a larger project, and is responsible for all aspects of the project over its lifespan (discovery, define, design, digital execution, and go-live). The Project Manager must be familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.

Ultimately responsible for finding creative solutions to the time and scope constraints that impact every project while defending the quality and integrity of the work and remaining true to the creative vision and intent.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Collaborates with the project team to identify strategies and solutions that will best meet the client’s needs within established constraints.

·       Works with account team as well as other members of assigned cross-functional project team to estimate scope and timing for tasks such as project strategy, functional design, visual design, technology requirements, etc., utilizing established scope estimation processes and tools.

·       Actively participates in all project activities, collaborating on the content and presentation of key client deliverables as required to ensure scope implications, deliverable quality and timelines are being adhered to.

·       Creates and maintains project documentation such as project plans, asset trackers, project status reports (as needed), change requests, program setup documentation, etc.

·       Communicates and drives acceptance of project deadlines, milestones, and dependencies with internal and external teams.

·       Actively tracks project status/progress, highlights and mitigates risks and issues.

·       Manages communication during the scope change process.

·       Communicates roles and responsibilities for project deliverables to the team members.

·       Works cross-functionally (internally and externally) to ensure all needed assets, resources, costs and deadlines are identified and managed day-to-day to successfully meet organizational expectations and project goals.

·       Coordinates necessary vetting conversation with internal and external technical teams to ensure that all teams are aligned on project requirements and timing.

REQUIREMENTS

·       Minimum 1 year experience as an Interactive Project Manager within an agency environment, or similar.

·       BA Degree

·       Has ability to see things from all points of view, not just the PM point of view.  This includes billing, finance, account management, creative, tech, client, and executive management.

·       Ability to develop creative solutions to problems in relation to tactical and strategic project issues.
