Job Description

The Sales Operations team is responsible for the support Epsilon Sales teams in tracking and reporting on our sales process (leveraging Salesforce). 
The team is looking to expand its current US based Salesforce development/support team to include a small team of business analysts / technologists to work from Epsilon Bangalore, India.   We are looking for candidates with proven experience in Salesforce development supporting initiatives in a fast-paced environment.  Experience with globally distributed operations preferred.
The Salesforce lead Developer / Analyst position will work closely with the US team, reporting to the Sr. Director, Sales Operations based in US and will provide support in the development, enhancement and maintenance of three distinct, practice specific Salesforce instances.
This individual should be comfortable with the Salesforce development (Sales cloud), have experience managing integration of 3rd party applications with Salesforce, and have experience working with Sales teams, Sales Operations, and adjacent functions like Marketing and Pricing.   

Responsibilities:

  • In coordination with the US based team, the Salesforce lead will be responsible for design, development, testing, maintenance, and support of three practice specific Salesforce instances (Enterprise/Technology, Data and Digital Media).
  • Design and document business requirements for Salesforce development. 
  • Review, assess, prioritize and address submitted support tickets regarding Salesforce instances.
  • Work with the larger team to support Sales Operations function and daily activities and as needed on ad-hoc projects.
  • Help hire and manage 2 person team based in Bengaluru, India.

Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or Business degree with a strong systems background or related field.
Ideal education would be IT degree with a Business/Marketing emphasis OR Business/Marketing degree with IT minor or equivalent experience.

Experience:
3-6 years’ technical support/development experience with Salesforce.  Development of Sales operations business requirements, and design / implementation of sales process preferred.

Role Requirements:

  • Prior relevant experience in delivering Salesforce / CRM solutions.
  • Certifications Salesforce Administrator, Architect, and Sales/Service Cloud.
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in Salesforce development (Workflow, APEX code, APEX Triggers and Visual force Pages)
  • Overall understanding of systems architecture & technology development life cycle.
  • Experience working with Salesforce integrated 3rd party applications (LinkedIn Sales navigator, 6Sense, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of Sales stage progression / process would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge and experience in CRM, Marketing, CPQ tools desirable.
  • Experience as a track lead / technical manager desirable.
  • Experience in both Salesforce Classic and Lightening is desirable.
