Job Description

Rauxa is looking for a Data Manager professional with digital and web analytics expertise to join our team!  The Manager, Data Intelligence is responsible for guiding and supporting all facets of web analytics projects. As a key member of the Data Intelligence team, this includes preparing and executing analytic strategies, measurement and reporting for digital marketing campaigns, and making proactive recommendations that drive the key performance goals of our clients. This role can be based in our Irvine, San Francisco, NYC, or Seattle locations or remotely from Oregon, Illinois, Texas or Georgia.

What You’ll Do:

  • Accurately and effectively estimate level of effort for analytics projects
  • Conduct web analytics audits and assessments for client web properties
  • Collaborate with Experience Design and Creative teams to drive insights for and support data-driven web design
  • Guide internal and external clients on measurement strategy and tagging, reporting, technology, and implementation
  • Work independently and/or collaborate with team members to develop measurement plans, tagging strategies, report configuration, and conduct ongoing web analytics administration
  • Develop, participate, and present analyses, POVs, reporting results, insights, and recommendations
  • Proactively identify, evaluate, and recommend new web analytics, testing, tag management, reporting, and other relevant tools and applications
  • Prepare analysis and tracking of marketplace, technology, and consumer trends both within and across multiple industries
  • Define third-party media tagging strategies and solutions
  • Ensures consistent, relevant and actionable KPIs are used to optimize and influence strategic media decisions
  • Manages, trains and provides on-going leadership and mentorship to Data Analysts

Qualifications

Who You Are:   

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5-7 years hands-on experience in web analytics
  • Expertise in web analytics setup, configuration, administration, QA, and optimization
  • Practitioner expertise in web analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, GA360, etc
  • Expertise in Tag Management solutions, such as DTM, GTM, Ensighten, and Tealium
  • Experience with site testing and personalization tools such as Adobe Target, Optimizely, and Maxymiser
  • Experience with designing and implementing experimental digital media test designs (including A/B split, multivariate)
  • Familiar with web technologies such as HTML, Javascript, CSS.
  • Experience integrating customer data into web analytics tools
  • Ability to craft innovative strategies and approaches to analyze marketing performance and deliver powerful insights and recommendations
  • Ability to manage internal stakeholders at varying levels
  • Strong multitasking skills and ability to work in a flexible, dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with demonstrated instinct for developing insights from data
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, presentation, and story-telling
  • Certifications in Adobe Analytics, GA, or other relevant technologies a plus
