Job Description

We’re searching for a versatile Art Director who has a fresh perspective and a knack for transforming concepts into cutting-edge visual solutions. For this role, the art director is ready to take the next step in their career with an opportunity that delivers a chance to drive the creative product while working autonomously alongside a cross-functional team of agency and client partners. This art director should be an open-minded and collaborative self-starter, looking to explore new ways of working and adapt in a fast-paced environment. 

This art director will be part of core team working in the Agile methodology to design and execute innovative visual materials for integrated, cross-channel initiatives including web and print advertising. They’ll collaborate with creative directors, copywriters, designers, production specialists and other key members of our creative team to produce industry-leading work.

Tasks and responsibilities include:
•    Brainstorm and develop on-brand creative concepts across a range of media for assigned tactics/projects with copywriter partner
•    Deliver ideas and concepts aligned to the brand strategy and ensure consistency across tactics
•    Create and communicate concepts
•    Design comps, storyboards, and final deliverables
•    Present execution options while communicating and articulating design rationales
•    Foster a collaborative environment
•    Work with the client on multiple projects at once
•    Assist leadership in improving the technical and creative performance of the Creative group
•    Partner with copywriters to ensure that the copy and voice support the concepts
 

Qualifications

To qualify, you’ll need:
•    2-4 years of Art Direction and strong digital design work experience 
•    Creative agency experience desired
•    Experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare marketing and understanding of regulated environments strongly preferred
•    Experience and understanding of working in the Agile methodology and SCRUM framework desired
•    Robust design portfolio with combination of print and digital campaign initiatives
•    Experience with strategic brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development and creative execution
Strong typography, graphic, and interaction design skills with solid experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and the Invision platform
