Job Description

platformGSK is hiring a Regional Paid Search Manager, leading paid search across South East Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan (SEATH) markets. They are responsible for driving the success of the Paid Search operations across the SEATH team and markets, by providing thought leadership on campaign strategies, optimization and product, and building strong relationships and establishing clear lines of communications with regional and local clients, partners and team members. They will also be required to oversee the activations and deliveries across social platforms for APAC, working with the RDT and local markets to ensure campaigns are delivering as required. Lastly, assisting the team with quarterly and half yearly digital reviews and tracking deliveries against Google & Facebook JBPs.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership:

  • Working with Local market teams by providing guidance and governance to them on Paid Search campaigns across the SEAT HK markets
  • Meeting and exceeding the Paid Search benchmarks and achieving paid search goals
  • Development of SEM SEATH marketing materials such as planning templates, education, case studies, POVs and presenting these in certain forums with local/area pGSK
  • Driving the SEATH Paid Search innovation agenda
  • Providing thought leadership in Paid Search, SEATH
  • Leading key partner relationships across Paid Search
  • Representing SEATH Paid Search in relevant meetings, events and communications
  • Assists in training, mentoring, and developing team members

Account Management:

  • Driving and developing the paid search strategy for each SEATH market, working to ensure implementation and optimisation to goals
  • Providing presentations and quarterly SEATH Paid Search Reviews, including the presentation of these with local/area pGSK
  • Assumes accountability and ownership of regional search management and execution
  • Keeps management apprised of key client opportunities, potential risks and other key nuances

Program Management

  • Understands multi-channel optimization best practices and articulates knowledge and client deliverables effectively
  • Commands data analysis of key metrics to identify, recommend and implement changes for increasing the performance of client programs
  • Assists with keyword strategies, budgeting and forecasting across SEATH when required
  • Overseeing Social campaign activations and deliveries across APAC
  • Assisting with Quarterly & Half yearly APAC Digital Reviews
  • Assisting with tracking deliveries across Google & Facebook JBP for APAC

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Required Education: Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2+ years of Search & Social experience and 1+ year of client/ account management
  • Experience in applying paid search optimization to brand-building & direct response initiatives
  • Deep experience with Google Ads, SA360, Campaign Manager and Facebook
  • Strong command of search engine research and reporting resources
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving abilities and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work successfully with the team on multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Previous experience in regional / global coordination is preferred, but a good, hands-on understanding of how planning / buying is done locally is essential
  • Strong client and inter-agency relations skills
  • Experience with MS Teams, MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
