Job Description

A digital planning role supporting the digital managers by contributing to and executing the digital media strategy across a portfolio of accounts. Play a key role in the planning & buying effective digital campaigns on behalf of MBM clients, whilst actively overseeing digital implementation and channel optimisation.

What you will do 

Account Management:

  • Support where appropriate digital managers in client service and account management and play a leading client service role on some smaller clients.
  • Liaise with the client through campaign implementation and sharing regular media updates.
  • Work with the Digital Manager to share new opportunities with partners that may be a good opportunity outside of BAU work.
  • Provide client-specific research, competitive reviews and reporting, as required.

Project Management

  • Input into internal & external communications—including working with the Digital Managers on briefing, amendments and resolving issues.
  • Manage timelines by working alongside internal specialists, both delivery partners (platforms team, implementation team) as well as specialist teams (SEO, Analytics, Content); Aid Digital Manager in managing internal stakeholders by communicating with these teams to deliver key milestones.
  • Work with external suppliers to negotiate buy and ensure seamless campaign delivery.
  • Brief internal team counterparts thoroughly on campaign so that all buying & trafficking is completed in a timely and detail-oriented fashion, and manage campaign changes as required by the Digital Manager.

Implementation and Reporting:

  • Oversee the campaign and platform implementation, taking accountability for buying application of the audience strategy.
  • Support DM as required with data supplied by implementation teams to create insightful campaign performance reports (pacing, interim and final reports) to be presented internally and to clients.
  • Identify and recommend optimisations to activity to share with the Digital Manager and client.

Digital Strategy:

  • Support where appropriate in taking client or internal briefs with support of the Digital Manager to develop strategic approach to digital plans
  • Source target audience information and insights to help develop the media strategy and plan, as required by the Digital Manager.
  • Utilise digital tools to support Digital Manager in scoping audience strategy.

Finance and Admin

  • Maintain accurate timesheet records.
  • Use the MBM billing system (Pegasus) to enter all digital media billing including direct media buys, self-serve media buys, adserving and fees.
  • Take ownership of any invoice queries and resolving these quickly and efficiently.

Qualifications

About you 

  • 3+ years in a digital planning/buying/implementation role
  • Pegasus, Facebook, DV360, Google AdWords and Google Analytics certified (and/or experienced & willing to become certified)
  • Client service etiquette
  • Eager for learning opportunities
  • Hands-on doer who has the confidence to ask questions and curiosity to learn new things
