Job Description

Immediate Supervisor: Account Director (AD)

Responsibilities include supervising a marketing team, managing client communication, managing production schedules, resolving conflicts, reporting, and presentations.

Essential Duties

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Participate in client’s marketing planning process.
  • Propose and promote strategic improvements to client’s program.
  • Presentations, meetings and client communications
  • Lead in project planning and scheduling
  • Internal and external quotes and approvals
  • Develop pricing and profit calculations and approvals
  • Develop and oversee launch and production schedules
  • Oversee all project workflow with production teams
  • Coordinate outside vendor production
  • Plan for future marketing requirements beyond current marketing programs.
  • Increase efficiency of programs.
  • Serve as liaison between client and creative, production, and data
  •  Resolve program issues in a timely manner and help prevent future issues.
  • Manage all data processing and program information, including reports and analytics.
  • Manage and supervise staff and staffing needs and participate in hiring process.
  • Analyze results of all marketing programs.
  • Problem solve efficiently and effectively while improving processes and practices
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing expectations

Position Nature and Scope of Activities:

The Account Supervisor leads the Account Management team ensuring timely, professional and profitable execution of their client’s programs.  The AS defines their direct reports goals, providing direction, support and performance evaluation.

Working Relationships:

Position will interact with every department in the company and will interface with client senior management.  Strong communication and administration skills are essential.

Experience:

  • 8 Years + of related experience
  • 3 Years + managing direct report(s)
  • Must be comfortable with all aspects of Direct Marketing, specifically Email and Direct Mail; Online Advertising knowledge is a plus
  •  Previous Automotive Marketing experience a plus; specifically understanding of Tier 1 Retail, CRM Retail and/or Digital Retail Marketing
  • Strong knowledge of marketing techniques with the ability to implement to drive growth for clients
  • Direct client interaction, providing program status and performance.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently as a self-starter with strong initiative
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, while coordinating multiple projects simultaneously
  • A strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint expertise is a must
  • Must be familiar with the use of presentations, meeting minutes, and status reports
  • Associate’s, bachelor’s degree or relevant experience preferred
