Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to join the agency.

The individual in this role supports the Director in providing exceptional client service and exemplary project management of day-to-day account tasks and projects. They are responsible for keeping the Director up-to-date on client requests, timelines, budgets, as it pertains to their tasks and projects. In this role, the individual is able to concurrently manage multiple tasks/projects and/or retailers. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail planning and shopper marketing execution as part of a 360 integrated campaign. 

 

Here’s What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coordinate and manage the daily/executional workflow and logistics of the client’s marketing plan/initiatives.
  • Run/own small to mid-sized programs
  • Develops and maintains relationships with shopper clients and sales at appropriate levels through regular contact
  • Professionally responds to all client correspondence in a timely manner
  • Assist/lead in managing client hours and client budget line items.
  • Assist in the writing of creative and project briefs
  • Proactively lead the work by thinking ahead and providing the team with the information needed to deliver an assignment with excellence
  • Develops and maintains program critical paths and timelines and possesses minute by minute knowledge of all work in progress
  • Coordinates with vendors, establishing project plans, timelines and budgets. Monitors progress of projects, provides feedback, implements changes and recommends solutions when faced with challenges.
  • Works with cross functional team members of the agency and the client, building strong internal relationships
  • Manages project finances and billing 
  • Runs weekly status meetings and produce meeting agendas and follow up reports
  • Proactively engage in identifying business issues/challenges and bring forward solutions.
  • Provide recommendations on how to improve program and create efficiencies.
  • Proactively engage in researching the client’s industry and bringing forward news and best-in-class examples
  • Proactively share ideas on how to grow the client’s business
  • Engage in analytical analysis of client’s business, where appropriate
  • Proactively builds their marketing skill set

 

 

Qualifications

Ideal Candidates Will Have

    • 4-year degree in Business, Marketing or related field
    • Minimum 2 years of agency Account Management experience
    • Shopper Marketing, Promotions and/or Couponing experience required
    • Strong written and verbal communication
    • Highly organized individual with ability to prioritize work streams
    • High degree of attention to detail, striving for great work
    • Creative and logical problem solver
    • Ability to multi-task and work autonomously
    • Owns assigned projects from brief to completion
    • Conducts themselves in professional manner, with client management experience
    • Experience overseeing client financials and invoicing
    • Prior retail planning and shopper execution highly preferred
