Job Description

We are looking for a hardworking, knowledgeable and personable Performance Planning Director to join one of Zenith’s most high profile accounts – Three mobile.

Sitting within the planning team, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing Three’s always on performance strategy. They will be expected to continue the excellent work and results we achieved for Three to date by evolving the performance function beyond traditional digital channels.

They will achieve this through a more holistic and strategic approach to channel selection which goes beyond last click metrics and embraces a wider view & understanding of performance media. Experience and understanding of how ATL channels, such as TV, work within the performance mix is a must.

The candidate will be expected to build close working relationships with all key stakeholders at Three by exhibiting a collaborative approach to performance media planning and building trust with their market leading industry knowledge.

They will  be expected to work closely with all other areas of the business, most notably the brand team, to ensure our output is always working in close harmony in order to achieve all business goals.

The ability to construct and tell clear, coherent stories is crucial in order to bring together the myriad components of Three’s offering and subsequently bring key stakeholders, both internal and external, on a journey towards our strategic goals.

The Work

  • Lead the performance team to deliver best in class work every time
  • Ensure you and your team deliver operational excellence in all aspects of your work
  • Continually push the specialist teams to keep our work fresh and always market leading
  • Be the lynchpin for responses to brief (RTBs) to ensure the best work comes together
  • Maintain a proactive approach to weekly reporting to ensure we are always striving for better outcomes.

The Clients

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with key, senior clients
  • Deliver and set an example of immaculate client service (ICS)
  • Ensure ICS is delivered by your direct reports
  • Be proactive and results orientated in day-to-day client management
  • Celebrate achievements with clients

The Commercial

  • Understand how we as a business make money, identify growth opportunities
  • Support your Business Director and/or Client Partner in driving account profitability
  • Understand contractual obligations on your clients
  • Identify and progress win:win opportunities for agency & client

The Team

  • Help manage a team of 2  (Manager + executive)
  • Lead by example, to help direct reports be the best they can be
  • Set clear progression plans for your team
  • Work effectively with Business Director to support client goals
  • Lead positive relationships with partner agencies and suppliers

Qualifications

  • Experience across data and audience strategy, analytics and reporting
  • A strategic & inquisitive mind with a proven track record of using multiple data inputs to arrive at market-leading media solutions
  • Experience getting the most out of partner relationships & presenting new-to-market concepts
  • Self-starting planner who can work autonomously on projects if needed, but also enjoys working within a team with a strong, collaborative working ethos.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace, handle multiple simultaneous campaigns and alongside multiple stakeholders
  • Telecomms experience would be ideal but is not compulsory. Experience across both brand and performance would also be a positive attribute to have given the nature of the client’s business
