The Client

Macmillan

Macmillan appointed Zenith in late 2019 and is an agency win that we’re particularly proud of. Macmillan see us a true partner in their ambition to help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can.

Macmillan’s primary objectives are to raise income by encouraging people to GIVE support to Macmillan and to also drive uptake of their cancer services by encouraging people living with cancer to GET support from them.

Macmillan’s annual media investment includes a broad media mix of Brand TV, DRTV, OOH, Radio, Print, Paid Social, Display, PPC, SEO & Health Care Media

 

The Role

You would work in tandem with the Planning Director on the annual Brand planning as well as crucial fundraising campaigns. You will be exposed to all media channels from bold awareness channels such as TV, Paid Social, OOH, Partnerships to performance channels offering them a diverse and rare knowledge opportunity in both brand and performance.

You will have management responsibility of 2 Planning Executives, setting clear progression plans and allowing them to flourish. 

Working with the Planning Director, you will deliver outstanding work every time, being the go to person for campaign delivery as well as being a lead on smaller responses to clients. You will be heavily client facing, and expected to build trusted relationships and be proactive in your client management.

We are looking for an ambitious, self-starting individual who can work autonomously on projects if needed, but also enjoys working within a team with a strong, collaborative working ethos. We want someone who has the necessary skills to add value to their team. As such, this is what we need from you:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage a diverse workload
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent client servicing skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience working across variety of performance digital channels – Experience of Programmatic Display is essential
  • Experience working with AdServers and pixel tagging
