Job Description

PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a remote position. Candidates will either need to reside in or relocate to the Miami area if selected for the role. Frequent local and domestic travel to event, conference, and video shoot sites (including occasional weekend travel) will be required.

Razorfish is looking for a Content Creator with a passion for conceptual creative, a love of all things social, and an ability to shoot and produce incredible video and photographic content both from behind the camera and from inside an edit bay.

You'll be collaborating with Art Directors and Copywriters to create content for the TikTok and Instagram platforms in support of our automotive client brands. That means coming up with concepts and then traveling to events and locations, shooting video and still content, editing videos and retouching photos, mixing sound, and anything else needed to build out production- and go-live-ready content.

Specifically, you will:

  • Work with the creative team to develop content concepts for social media
  • Shoot, produce and edit video content
  • Perform clipping, captioning, reframing, reformatting, converting and exporting, color correction/grading and sound mixing
  • Manage and organize projects, bins, and media
  • Troubleshoot, identify and resolve technical issues
  • Shoot still photography and provide basic photo retouching
  • Stay up-to-date on new technologies and recommend them when appropriate

Basically you're going to be creating visual assets for all of the content that is going out to all of the followers of some of the world's biggest automotive brands using the world's fastest-growing social platforms. So, you know... no biggie.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in video production, filmmaking, or design preferred; graduation from an advertising/portfolio school or professional work experience can be substituted
  • 1-2 years experience in conceptual art direction, motion design, videography, or video production in a highly creative in-house or agency environment preferred; excellent internship experience can be substituted
  • Experience concepting and developing social media marketing campaigns with a specific focus on video and photographic content
  • Prior experience creating and developing content specifically for the TikTok and Instagram platforms including a deep knowledge of the specs and requirements for each
  •  natural eye for visual storytelling, specifically with regard to concepting and art directing for short-form digital and social content
  • Experience working onsite at events and video shoots including on-the-fly art direction, talent management, and collaboration
  • Experience using handheld DSLR, phone, and video cameras to capture candid, unscripted, and scripted video and still content
  • Experience creating, editing, and color-grading video content using Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar programs
  • Experience mixing and editing sound
  • Experience retouching still photography
  • An ability to tell a concise, complete, engaging, memorable story in a limited window of time
  • Have a finger on the pulse of pop culture as well as the latest social media content and trends
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to brainstorm, develop, and execute social media and video campaigns
  • Acute attention to detail and an ability to work within tight deadlines
  • An ability to take direction and work independently
  • An interest in the automotive industry would be awesome
