Job Description

The Associate Director of Data Engineering will be working in a hands-on leadership role in the company’s Analytics Department supporting HCP Data Onboarding. HCP stands for Healthcare Professional Media which is user-level time stamped data management.  This department is responsible for processing and maintaining all the data that flows into the company, as well as the call forecasting, data authentication and troubleshooting of day-to-day reporting issues.

This individual will work very closely with internal and external partners, along with industry vendors, to deploy digital tracking and other technologies to support our DR based business.  This position will have direct reports who are charged with on-boarding and launch for new client’s campaigns, monitoring, and reporting on changes in campaigns over time.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee direct reports on deliverables and insights in a fast-paced environment with concurrent projects for multiple key clients
  • Own the training and review processes to ensure employee growth
  • Present issues, trends & recommendations to internal and external teams in a clear, concise & focused manner
  • Provide solutions for clients’ needs and issue resolutions with the sales and client service teams
  • Utilize data, analysis and best practices to facilitate continual process improvement and revenue generation
  • Provide analytical reporting on client data to assist with workflow and performance
  • Monitor goals and performance on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Provide guidance to supervisory staff related to employee relations and disciplinary actions
  • Collaborate within the department to identify areas of improvement and focus resources to improve overall performance
  • Participate in the discussion and preparation of performance reports for review. Identify areas of concern, trends, make recommendations for corrective action, and goal-setting.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Information systems, or related field of study  
  • 3+ years of data analysis and attribution experience
  •  5+ years of management experience in a data operations capacity
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly understand complex consumer behavior and business concepts
  • Adept at creating professional presentations and documentation
  • Experience with television as an advertising medium, including knowledge of measurement concepts such as ratings, impressions, and reach & frequency
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager, Website tagging, SEO, and SEM
  • Experience with API’s, Cloud Services, and Double Click Manager
  • Experience with Data Warehousing technologies, development and management.
  • Experience with cloud technologies – AWS, Azure, Google
  • Knowledge of data security protocols for handling sensitive information.
  • Experience in a database/analytical programming language(s) (i.e. SQL, SAS, R, etc.)
  • Develop technical documentation based on business requirements
  • Design data models for enterprise-wide data integration incorporating:
  • o    Structured and unstructured data
  • o    Real time, on-demand, batch and varying timing schedules.
  • Have an eye on automation, while managing data warehouse file storage and processes
