Job Description
This position can be located at our Irvine, San Francisco or San Luis Obispo, CA offices.
What You’ll Do:
Gain understanding of all personnel costs. Participate in the process of updating salary database, preparing journal entries, tracking all employee movements (Leavers/Joiners/Transfers), as well as open positions & maintaining freelancer budget
Responsible for all aspects of the Research Budget, including monthly journal entries, forecasting and budgeting while interacting with SRG team.
Preparation of Client Profitability reporting; maintain employee allocations, track time entry, confirming revenue and all other client related costs.
Support in completing all reporting, scheduled and ad hoc, for agency to parent company
Work with and gain knowledge of the several financial and media databases that are updated on monthly basis
Assist in preparation of supporting documents for financial audits
Qualifications
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration (accounting/finance majors preferred) 4-6 years related financial analysis work experience at a Media/Advertising agency
Proficiency with Excel, SAP and Hyperion
Excellent analytical, quantitative, problem solving, organizational, and communication skills required
Must be very detail oriented, display a strong work ethic, and work well both independently and within a team structure
