Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for somebody who loves everything music and seeks to learn the ropes of music production from the foundation up. The Music/Production Coordinator will assist and work hands-on with our Music Supervisor, Business Affairs Department and Content Producers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Open & manage purchase orders for music and production vendors (Music Supervisor/Business Affairs)
  • Assist with music research (looking up rights holders on ASCAP & BMI Repertoire’s) 
  • Manage stock music searches, coordination with producers/creative teams for review and compile feedback
  • Update and maintain music contacts database
  • Update and maintain Disco account – cloud-based music storage platform
  • Facilitate with vendor set-up in the payment system
  • Assist with other music related tasks
  • Support Talent Payment Managers with commercial trackers, as needed
  • Assist with invoice processing
  • Update t.com tracker, as needed
  • All other duties as assigned

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Passionate about the music industry and creative production
  • Detail oriented, proactive, and self-motivated
  • Deadline focused with an ability to handle a large volume of work in a limited period of time
  • A keen ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Flexibility in working extended hours and occasional weekends
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google docs
  • Ability to build presentation decks
  • Basic math skills
  • Must be team a player
  • Communicate effectively internally and externally
  • Ability to assimilate information quickly
