Job Description

As a Client Partner, you build intimate and trusted relationships to lead mid-tier client engagements with revenue responsibility. You are an expert in guiding clients through their digital transformation to achieve desired outcomes. You have managed global budgets of 8mm+

The Client Partner will work alongside the Sr. Client Partner and Sr. Project Manager to nurture client relationships for a large digital Global program. Prior global, site experience is required for consideration.

We are looking for a US based candidate, can be located in Chicago, Miami, Austin, Atlanta, New York, Detroit.

Responsibilities:

  • Senior Client & Industry Relationships
    • Own senior client relationships (mid-size clients) or share responsibility with VP, CP or CP (large-size clients)
    • Run day-to-day operations of assigned work streams
    • Share responsibility for 100% client retention by working with the leadership team to maintain mid to senior level relationships allowing us to proactively identify client risks and growth opportunities 
    • Establish long-term partnerships with key strategic clients by demonstrating a thorough understanding of their business, market, brand, customers and challenges
    • Demonstrate a clear understanding of Razorfish’s capabilities to drive new business and impact client’s potential for transformation
    • Remain current on industry trends and market changes impacting our client’s business
    • Collaborate across internal channels to maintain consistency and identify new business opportunities for platform and content 
  • Engagement P&L Ownership
    • Communicate progress of revenue to budget forecast to the team throughout the year 
    • Support senior client partners in attaining P&L targets through a combination of existing business contributions and new opportunity development 
    • Monitor P&L fluctuations to proactively identify risks and opportunities 
    • Consistently cultivate a pipeline of new cross-regional efforts/opportunities
    • Develop Statements of Work (SOWs); validate cost and scope with management
  • Team Management
    • Identify and manage core account team and PM to effectively respond to client needs
    • Lead regular update internal & external meetings as well as proactive communication to clients
    • Actively participate on client delivery teams to enhance and deepen client relationships 
    • Coordinate and advise project managers on resource management for matters concerning the project
    • Foster optimal environment for idea growth and creativity
    • Work closely with management to consistently improve team morale
    • Mentor junior team members
    • Assist in new employee on-boarding and training

Qualifications

  • 8-10 + years of related industry experience; preferably with a global digital agency
  • 3+ years of proven track record in developing senior-level client relationships
  • Strong knowledge or experience in marketing and advertising, with emphasis on interactive media, direct marketing, strategy, and analytics
  • Apply creative thinking and analytical problem solving skills to deliver results
  • Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build client rapport
  • Ability to collaborate effectively at all levels and functions of an organization
  • Strong client-service orientation  
  • Proven ability to manage projects to successful completion, multi-task, and work within tight deadlines 
  • Sound business acumen 
  • Ability to lead a team effectively and provide direction through coaching and mentorship
  • Emerging negotiation skills
