We are seeking a brilliant healthcare communicator to oversee strategy and delivery across a portfolio of global clinical trial projects and enterprise initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for educating and engaging patients and HCPs paired with deep experience leading innovative and impactful multichannel advertising and media campaigns. As a senior member of our growing account team, you will be responsible for directing and developing a junior team, as well as setting and achieving financial targets within your assigned clients and projects.

Here’s what you’ll do 

We’re searching for an Art Director who has a fresh viewpoint and a knack for transforming concepts into cutting-edge visual solutions. Partnering with a Copywriter and collaborating with designers and editors, you will be a part of our Clinical Trial Experience Team, developing strategies and campaigns to help pharmaceutical companies support patients and healthcare professionals through the clinical trial process. 

Your main tasks will be to develop channel-neutral outreach campaigns and supporting materials. Such materials may include television and radio ads, posters, social activations, brochures, animations, websites and digital campaigns, doctor-to-doctor letters, apps, presentations—basically, any medium or channel that could come across your desk.  

Some of your responsibilities will include: 

  • Partnering with a Copywriter to create innovative, channel-neutral ideas that answer the client's brief 

  • Communicating and articulating concept rationales for internal and client presentations 

  • Creating initial drafts and storyboards to sell creative ideas 

  • Overseeing multiple campaigns at the design stage in partnership with a Design Team, ensuring an excellently crafted output across all channels that is true to the creative idea, strategy, and study brand 

  • Working with our Production Team to ensure the best possible creative output, in partnership with photographers, illustrators, directors, animators and other partners 

  • Assisting the Senior Creative Team in improving the technical and creative performance of the Creative Group, and challenging client briefs to ensure opportunities are maximized 

  • Collaborating with cross-functional agency teams to ensure that work is produced on time and that all delivery deadlines are met  

Qualifications

That said, we’re looking for an Art Director with a passion for crafting brilliant ideas and who:  

  • Is diligent, organized, and detail-oriented  

  • Has excellent written and oral communication skills and is an experienced presenter  

  • Is an expert in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign 

  • Has a robust portfolio with combination of print and digital work 

  • Is experienced in strategic brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development, and creative execution, and has sufficient design ability to support concept development designs as needed  

  • Is able to adapt to fast-changing situations    

  • Has excellent critical thinking skills 

  • Can navigate multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks   

  • Has been in the workplace for at least two years
