To strengthen our team in Cologne, we are looking for a Medical Writer (m/f/d).

• Development of medical-scientific texts (RX, medical products, medical technology) and training concepts
• Analysis and processing of complex medical content and data for various target groups (specialists and laypeople), adaptation of the writing style to the respective target group (e.g. pharmacists, medical specialists, pharmaceutical representatives, etc.)
• Establishing a medically and scientifically sound basis for the team (e.g. content, creation, etc.) to derive communication concepts and measures
• Support of the team in the creation and presentation of medical content concepts and, if necessary, advice to the customer with regard to medical content strategies
• Proofreading of texts, performing fact checks, compiling and preparing reference packages
• Coordination and alignment of developed medical contents with the customer concerning approval processes
• Close cooperation with the different project teams (project management, concept, design, IT) and providing of individual ideas and strengths

• A completed scientific or medical degree (e.g. medicine, biology, ecotrophology, etc.)
• Several years of experience (3 to 5 years) in the field of medical writing and communication as well as experience in writing SEO-optimized, medical-scientific web texts
• Strong affinity for medical and health topics, conceptual thinking and creative teamwork, varied writing style and eloquent expression
• Ability to familiarize oneself with new indication areas in a short period of time (<1 week)
• Enjoy the development of easily understandable and yet medically exact texts that explain complex medical content and pharmaceutical relationships for various target groups
• Confident in dealing with common literature databases, researching publications and posters and citing scientific sources
• Native language English and / or German, if German is the native language, business fluent English, spoken and written
• Enthusiasm and a strong ability to work in a team, coupled with a confident, friendly and respectful manner when dealing with customers and colleagues
• Experienced use of Microsoft Office tools
