Job Description

As Owned Media Executive, your role will be to develop and execute our clients’ overall content marketing strategy, with a focus on content creation and distribution, as well as executing technical SEO work across our clients. You will also be given the time and training to work on other platform offerings (CRO, ASO, MPO etc.). You will be part of a fast-paced team working alongside our in-house SEO experts in the Owned Media division on a range of exciting clients.

Your day-to-day tasks will be varied, including tasks such as writing articles, blogs and other forms of online content, as well as undertaking detailed audits and creating reports using data to analyze content and site performance. You will support the Content Marketing and Technical SEO teams in producing reports to present back to the client. You will have access to a variety of tools for developing insights and opportunities to help clients achieve their business goals.

You will also be involved in client reporting, ensuring that data input is accurate, and that the analysis paints an accurate picture of client performance vs. KPIs.

We are looking for someone who is not only passionate and curious about what they do but is comfortable discussing ideas and new ways of working to the wider team and clients in an accessible way.

First Year Objectives:

3 months

  • To build a strong understanding of the UX and Content offering and the existing processes to deliver each component
  • To establish fully functional relationships with team members
  • To build a solid understanding of the Owned Media offering beyond SEO

6 months

  • To take greater ownership of campaign delivery
  • Be a trusted part of the campaign delivery teams
  • Own specific client deliverables and report development
  • Management of deliverables from off-shore team

12 months

  • Be in a position to take on greater authority and work with greater autonomy
  • Be ready to identify new opportunities for existing clients and help Managers upsell to client

Qualifications

Essential

English, Maths and Science GCSE’s grades A-C (or equivalent).

Highly Desirable

Post-graduate or undergraduate degree in relevant subject (or equivalent).

Experience and interests:

Interest or experience in content marketing, digital content creation, digital PR or SEO.

Key Skills:

  • To have knowledge of SEO and an idea of how to execute on-site and off-site audits
  • Delivery and understanding of innovative content marketing, audience research, PR and distribution strategies
  • Consistently accurate administration, budgeting and time management
  • Confident working as part of a specialist team and helping drive our service proposition forward.
  • Confident, comfortable and professional when communicating with internal and external parties.

Expertise

Has the functional and technical knowledge and skills to do his/her job at a high level of accomplishment, in line with his/her position in the organisation and his/her seniority. Has a good command of the field.
