Job Description

Overview:

The Ad Operations Manager is the execution lead for Display campaign trafficking and tagging, with additional exposure to the tagging and trafficking of Search and Social campaigns. This individual is responsible for understanding the technical details of URL Parameters, tag infrastructure and implementation, HTML5 and JavaScript code, as well as the ability to understand technical aspects of new and emerging technology platforms.

Role Objectives:

Media Activation & Program Support

•Flawless execution of Trafficking Display campaigns (including Search and Social campaigns, as needed)•Flawless execution of Tagging Display ads and campaigns (including Search and Social campaigns, as needed)

•Assist the development of site tagging strategies

•Universal Tag Manager installation and management

•Research and documentation of new vendor and technology platforms

•Own the Performics’ Vendor Management system in Salesforce

•Tag and Traffic cross-account Display URL campaigns

•Become a Subject Matter Expert around Display ad trafficking and placement best practices, as well as URL tracking parameters for Search and Social campaigns

•Assist in the onboarding and implementation of best practices in regards to tagging and trafficking new technology partnerships

•Assist Strategy and Analytics, Technical Account Manager, and Technology lead with the development of cross-channel tagging strategies

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree, concentration in business, marketing, or advertising preferred

•1-3 years of work experience with Display advertising and trafficking

•Web development experience with JavaScript and/or HTML5•Strong analytical and implementation skills; detail oriented

•Experience using third party tracking technologies (both cookie-based and site side) preferred

•High competency level in MS Office products including Excel and PowerPoint

•Able to work as directed, lead processes, balance multiple tasks, and work in team

•Experience or direct knowledge of online planning process a plus

•Familiarity with the following a plus: DoubleClick, Google Analytics, Omniture SiteCatalyst, Webtrends, Universal Tag Management systems
