Designer

  • Full-time

Company Description

The commercial world sits far away from the intimate nature of your health. So as a creative agency, Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness goes further to bring them together. Further in our thinking. Further in our execution. Further in our relationships. We’ve been designed from the ground up to have the skills, subtlety, and experience necessary to deliver against the marketing challenges of our clients, whilst respecting the relationship we all share with our wellbeing. Because nothing is more personal than your health.

Job Description

We’re looking for someone who’s looking for something. Someone who’s not quite content with where they are and what they’ve got. Someone who spends their time dreaming, making, doing, building, creating. Someone with the intelligence to think, challenge, and push things into unexpected places, without pushing people into unpleasant places. We’re looking for someone who can produce work that looks and feels like it’s been designed by a designer, not monkeyed by a monkey. Someone who doesn’t believe rules are absolute or good enough is good enough. Someone who doesn’t really like advertising, but can’t help loving it just a little. We’re looking for someone special. Maybe that someone is you?

You will join our growing and vibrant Creative department, a team with exacting standards and high ambition where every job is seen as an opportunity to excel. Working with Art Directors and other Designers, you will be responsible for transforming initial concepts into outstanding through-the-line communication.

We’ll be looking for a varied portfolio of work that demonstrates great attention to detail and well-developed craft skills. Strong typography is a given, as is a clear passion for communication in general, and advertising in particular.

There is an ever-increasing emphasis on digital channels, providing significant new opportunities in the sector. Although not specifically digitally-focused, candidates who bring design experience in this space are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

A degree or further education qualification in art, graphic design or visual communication is expected but is not essential, as the right candidate will be able to sell themselves on their portfolio alone.

We are looking for a candidate that is able to go beyond the brief and bring a sense of urgency and ownership to every project they work on.

Candidates should be proficient in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop as a minimum.
