Job Description

Rauxa is looking for a Senior Analyst, Data Intelligence to work remotely or in our NY office once we reopen!

The Senior Analyst, Data Intelligence is responsible for developing and executing marketing analytic strategies and partnering with our Account Services team to present, sell, and deliver them to assigned clients.  The Senior Analyst works across the Data Intelligence team to implement performance measurement and analytic initiatives, as well as related reporting and presentations.

What You'll Do:

  • Define measurement strategies for clients, inclusive of timely and comprehensive reporting and dashboards with an objective to evaluate marketing performance, drive valuable insights, and provide recommendations for optimization
  • Manage projects that primarily focus on the impact and/or ROI (return on investment) of media and marketing activities (including but not limited to direct marketing, cross-channel campaigns, digital advertising, promotional activities)
  • Subject matter expert for analytical tools and techniques, including advanced SQL and digital analytics packages
  • Ensure delivery and integration of conclusions/recommendations and actionable insights
  • As required/appropriate, perform hands-on data investigation and analysis in support of program delivery, including development of conclusions and implications
  • Identify research and analytics initiatives to support strategy development
  • Create business cases for successful analytics initiatives
  • Design and manage strategic analytic roadmaps for clients
  • Present to clients and prospective clients on results of current projects as well as new business opportunities

Qualifications

Who You Are:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Economics or Statistics or equivalent work experience preferred; master’s degree is a plus
  • You have  4 or more years of marketing analytics experience; email/direct mail experience preferred
  • You have demonstrated experience in statistical and econometric analysis
  • You have marketing agency experience (preferred)
  • You have experience with advanced analytic techniques, such as multivariate regression analysis, predictive modeling, logistic regression, factor analysis, sales forecasting, response prediction, advertising effectiveness, consumer profiling, market mix and ROI measurement 
  • You have experience developing strategic analytic roadmaps and managing projects and teams to effectively deliver them
  • You have hands-on experience with data visualization and analytic dashboard development required; experience with Tableau preferred
  • You are fluent in SQL (required), working knowledge of SAS, SPSS, R or any other advanced analytics software package (preferred)
  • You have a comprehensive understanding of metrics: Media (e.g. impression, GRP, CPV etc.), Measurement analytics, Quantitative business measures (LTV, ROI, Effectiveness, etc.), Statistics (Correlations, sample sizing, t-value VIF etc.)
  • You have an advanced understanding of integrated direct marketing principles and cross-channel marketing measurement and analytic strategies
  • You have thorough knowledge and applied experience with marketing strategy and analytics development and delivery
  • You have a working knowledge of web analytics packages is required, Adobe SiteCatalyst (preferred)
  • You have strong communication skills including the ability to develop presentations, present insights, and recommendations
  • You have the ability to work in a flexible, dynamic and fast-paced team environment;
  • You are proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • You have a proven track record of dealing directly with clients (preferred)
  • You have managed or mentor junior team members (preferred).
