Job Description

As a Media Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on the effectiveness of our client’s marketing initiatives. The goal of this role is to provide internal and external teams with information aimed at improving current and future initiatives. Success for this position is measured by the ability to perform advanced analysis on diverse data sets, and synthesize insights into clear, incisive insights and recommendations that drive business results.

An ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in a quantitative discipline. A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (economics, business, statistics, etc.) is required.

Roles and Responsibilities include:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in a quantitative role, with extensive experience analyzing large sets of data to produce actionable insights.
  • Learn how to build strategic frameworks and develop a deep understanding of industry, company, and consumer content engagement drivers to conduct performance optimization analysis.
  • Ability to consistently deliver quality outputs in a fast-paced environment, with an ability to work to tight deadlines. Extremely well-organized and capable of handling multiple projects and ad-hoc requests simultaneously.
  • Excellent presentation and visual storytelling skills.
  • Learn how to construct executive level presentations to communicate complex analytical findings in a clear and concise manner to inform key decisions.

Qualifications

Candidate experience should include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field required.
  • An excellent understanding of Statistics and a high comfort level with quantitative analysis.
  • A deep love and knowledge of Excel. You should get excited when you talk about VLookup, IF statements, and maybe even Visual Basic.
  • Ability to translate complicated analyses into plain language, both in speaking and writing.
  • A self-starter that can communicate effectively at all levels as well as work independently.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as DoubleClick or Adobe Analytics
  • Good presentation and visual storytelling skills.
