Job Description

Position Summary

PHM is looking for a creative, organized and high-energy Human Resources Generalist.  In this role you will have the opportunity to assist in managing and in some cases developing our Learning & Development, Employee Engagement and Experience and Diversity and Inclusion programming. Data collection and management will be an integral part of this role as this information will be used to evaluate the success of our existing programming and identify areas of improvement. This is important work that has a huge impact on our people and our business!

Key Responsibilities

Internship Programs

  • Oversee and manage the Early Career programming which includes the Year-up Program, Drexel Co-Op Program and PHM Intern Program
  • Manage Intern and Co-op Freelance forecasting in partnership with finance
  • Create an alumni program for former Interns and Co-ops
  • Partner with Marketing team to highlight Early Career programming internally and externally
  • Organize and run Early Career events throughout the duration of the program(s)

Learning and Development

  • Communicate regularly with employee population about Learning & Development programs, e-learning opportunities & workshops
  • Synthesize learning information for employees in an easy-to-navigate way
  • Partner with HRBPs on L&D, conference, ad-hoc opportunities that arise
  • Partner with the PHM L&D Lead to develop capability specific training and resources as well as maintaining our current PHM Learning courses
  • Act as a liaison between PHM and the Corporate talent team

New Hire Processes & Onboarding

  • Develop best-in-class virtual onboarding experience for new hires from pre-hire to 6-12 months post-hire
  • Manage and evaluate the 90 day survey
  • Conduct 90 day check ins with new hires
  • Share new hire insights with Leaders and HRBPs

Employee Engagement & Experience

  • Partner with the Culture team to create initiatives to enhance employee experience
  • Partner with the D&I Council and assist in executing our D&I initiatives and programs
  • Operate as a strategic thought partner on ongoing employee initiatives
  • Conduct surveys and obtain feedback on ongoing talent initiatives and programs
  • Share out and quantify qualitative information & feedback received from talent programs and processes

Project Management

  • Responsible for medium to large scale projects to enable great employee experiences and business outcomes
  • Takes initiative to manage timelines, drive projects forward, provide updates to key stakeholders and HRBPs, and reprioritize where necessary
  • Collaborate with HRBPs, Business leaders, and employees to assess and predict needs

People Data Management

  • Expert on HRIS technology, managing data integration, accuracy, and reporting
  • Create Talent Intelligence metrics for HRBPs and Business Leaders
  • Provide regular reports with people data such as attrition reporting, onboarding insights, Demographic reporting, and more

Qualifications

  • Preferred candidate will have undergraduate degree in related discipline and/or completed HR certification program, e.g., SHRM
  • 4+ years relevant experience, preferably having managed talent programs
  • Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Extremely creative and innovative
  • Solid understanding of HR policies and procedures;
  • Strong ability to assess, troubleshoot and improve processes, identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions;
  • Able to establish a high level of trust and credibility in the organization. Confidentiality and discretion is essential;
  • Proactive and resourceful.  Ability to work autonomously in a fast paced, highly matrixed organization;
  • Strong interpersonal, client services and teamwork skills, with the ability to interface at all levels of management and personnel both internally and externally;
  • Highly organized with exceptional prioritization and project/ time management skills, able to manage multiple priorities in high volume environment;
  • Strong computer skills and proficient with the applications Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
